after the spanking we just gave the Broncos, I would hope not. what was the packer - broncos score? I said in a thread awhile back (too lazy to look it up) that we would know better how the pack and lions would match up after playing a like opponent. So now we know a little better. I can't wait until thanksgiving. looking at the schedules i am assuming both of us will go 2 - 3. meaning the thanksgiving game in motown will be for the NFC
north lead. and could happen again last game of the season. can you imagine; the lion's still in the playoff race at thanksgiving. It's been so long it is hard to believe. woooo hooooo.

Ahhhhh Big3 ... you have earned the right after all these years to throw down some smack...

But alas.. if you are using this game as an example.. may I point to the Skins or Eagles? Or to the fact you got them at home, after a crushing defeat, on a short week?

Enjoy your time in the sun and may it end being at least 2 games back after turkey day. :)

I'm not sure why I'm dignifying this with a response, but here goes. Good job on the game yesterday. You blew a team out AT HOME that was coming off a home overtime loss (to us) on a short week. What do you mean you were waiting for a like opponent? Did you forget about that you lost 56-21 to the Eagles... a team that we beat. Now settle down and be quiet for a little while.

I have to admit it was fun to see the Lions beat up on the Broncos. I was trolling the Broncos board the week before the Greenbay-Broncos game and they were talking about how bad the NFC was and that even a middle of the pack AFC team can beat one of the NFCs best.(referring to Greenbay).

2 losses in a row from the NFC shut them up quick.

Good job to the Lions for the smackdown on the Broncos.

while that win was awesome, and you have the right brag, but cant compare Packers Vs Denver and you vs Denver..

you were at home, packers on the road..

packers had to face Cutler entire game, you were only up 6-0 when he left the game

As you say it makes a difference obviously

Lions crushed the bears twice, once in Chicago.
    Packers...did not.

Lions look good this year. I think that the two teams are opposites. GB is slow and steady. I dont think that they have blown anyone out this year. Detroit is quite flashy. When on, they look pretty good. But, they can be off, and look not so good. I am looking forward to this game.

I can't get too down on big3.....i like the guy! I can see why he's excited. I just hope that after Thanksgiving he doesn't get TOO down. I DO expect us to beat the Lions that day. Yes, they are MUCH better then they have been in a LONG time. But we are no slouches either. That "bump" in the road that was the Bears game slowed us down, but sure didn't stop us. We lost 3 games during the SB 31 run. So we lost one to the Bears......no big deal.

Please cubbie bear fan go to a vikings board and discuss last place with them. Leave this to the top dogs of the division. Da bears suck btw. Yeah and you lost to the lions twice. Oh and about the Bears they look like total garbage now all of a sudden hes a Lion fan. Typical loser bear fan now switching teams cause their team stinks.

Yes, seems like the only division team the Bears can beat is GB.

The Packers dominated you guys statiscally but lost. Your 9-22 against Farve. Yeah every blind squirrel finds its nut once in a while just like the bears got lucky that night. The Packers just played very conservative and it looked like they tried to lose the game.

OK, so let me get this.

Packers win = Packers are a good team.
Packers lose = Other team got lucky.

    Check.

Ah, poor big3, just when he starts thinking the ship might be righted, the Lions show up and sink it again. Someday, man...someday, just not yet. So did you take out Warner or Rattay today? -18 yards rushing too...OUCHIES!
