Boy, a lot of these posts about signing Kitna brings up a lot of smack talk about how you Pack fans aren't scared of the "Kitties"

In past years you didn't have to worry about the Lions.

But what we all fail to see is that Joey threw for 2 Td's that first game and had a 95 rating for that game, en route to a 17-3 victory.

I have a feeling the next 5 years or so the Lions will be able to consistently beat the Packers.
I will enjoy watching Roy Williams destroy Ahmad Carrol, I will enjoy when Aaron Rodgers finally gets to be the starter, for you Packer fans have been spoiled when it comes to Quarterbacks, and I must say, I am enjoying this whole deal with Javon Walker wanting out.

Enjoy the role reversal for a while Pack fans, because it begins this year.

    Mr. Millen,

You have to admit that the Lions have been somewhat comical that past few years. Drafting WR #1 3 years in a row, and then this year their first FA move is to pick up WR Bradford. Also, the Millen Man March and the big disappointment in your RB Jones(who totally bombed for me in Fantasy). I think that Kitna may be a good fit for the Lions.

I do agree with you saying Packer fans being spoiled at QB. I could puke every time the Bears play the Pack and I have to look at the listing of 150QBs that have started for the Bears since King Brett arrived on the throne. I just hope that the Pack gets to enjoy some reality at QB for 5 or 10 years.

The "youngin's" don't remember the 70's and 80's.........they think the Packers have been great every year! They ARE spoiled. Thats why it bugs me when they scream "Favre should just retire!" Are they that much in a hurry to go back to mediocre???

I became a Packer fan in the 80s. I have no desire to go back to that.

Early 80s (82-83), but 1989 was probably the greatest season before Brett got here.

That was a good year for the Packers. Don Majkowski (sp?) lit it up that year. Didn't he throw for like over 4000 yards and like 27 tds. that was his only good year(fluke) in his 10 season career, but I think he only played like 1-2 full seasons. I remember being pissed that year when they reversed that stepping over the line of scrimmage call and old Donny beat the Bears 14-13. Aaargggghh!

I saw the Packers in the 70s and 80s and that is why I recognize that they are headed in that direction once again. It happens to everyone.
The Packer fans who joined the club when they won the Super Bowl will be jumping off the bandwagon by the bunch soon enough.
I have seen this show before.

Most of them from the Superbowl wagontrain were 49ers fans that became Dallas fans that became Fudgie fanatics. I witnessed a lot of that sellout crap from bandwagoneers back then.
