Just for fun, anyone notice how they always get washed up quarterbacks that are in the twilight of their careers?

I'm willing to guess who is next.

They got Archie Manning in the late 80's who was done.

Warren Moon wasn't the same Moon in a purple uniform

Randall Cunnigham still had a good arm, for one more year.

Jim McMahon wasn't much for them

Brett Favre still had one more year left in him.

So who's going to be next on the list?

My best bet is McNabb

I was gonna answer McNabb. Or, if Vince Young becomes available, they may decide to go the "Crazy QB" route.

Good choice, but I would bet it will be Vince Young. As a Longhorn fan it will pain me to see him go out like that, but he just never got it done in the NFL.

If they go that route, then Alex Smith is their man...

I still get a chuckle that Mike McCarthy had some say in the decision to draft Alex Smith instead of A-Rod.

Even a Superbowl winning coach can miscalculate now and then.

I've been saying this for a month now. The starting QB for the Viqueens will be VY next season.

Nobody going with Kevin Kolb?

I saw Larry Fitzgerald wants the Cards to go after either Kolb or Bulger.

I think Vince Young will end up in Minnesota

Also add Jeff George, Brad Johnson (second time), Kelly Holcomb, Gus Frerotte, and I'm sure a few other re-treads I am forgetting about.

If they were smart they should try to get Kyle Orton.

But, it's the Vikes so they'll sign another bandaid over the hill guy - I will go with McNabb. Then they'll draft a 5th round project who might be ready to play in 5 years.

And then McNabb will get hurt part way through the first season, and the new guy will have to start right then and well before he's ready, and then they can add another future QB to the 'Ruined before They Ever Got Started' Graveyard. :happy0005:
