So What's Jamie Dukes's Problem With Arod?

I don't know if it's just me, but whenever the guy gets a chance on tv, it just feels like he tries to get in a jab or a shot at Rodgers. Like he tries to talk down Aaron's accomplishments.

Like they were talking about Kyle "Checkdown" Orton on Around The League Live and he said something like, "Oh Well if He Had The Weapons Rodgers Has, he'd be an All Pro!" ... then he smiled like he just said something witty.

Then there was the before the 2010 season, he was talking about how Rodgers was just a stat guy and that he chokes in playoff games and how Mcnabb would have a better 2010 season cause, "he was in 5 NFC title games!" (with the eagles, years ago).

idk, It just bugs me hearing someone say that some doofus like Alex Smith/Orton/Sanchez/or any other joke of a Qb could be as Great as ARod is, just cause of the weapons.

I mean if the weapons are everything, then how come the colts aren't 5-0 without Peyton?

Or when people yap about how Tony Romo and Rivers are "just as good if not better than Rodgers!"
which is complete garbage. idk... Then there was the "Brian Brohm will be the Packers starter by the midpoint of the season!" garbage.

I just feel everytime Dukes goes out of his way to mention Rodgers, it's to take a shot at him...
There's topics that have nothing to do with The Packers, let alone the NFC, and the dude goes out of his way to Talk down Rodgers. It just gets real old and real annoying.

That's just to drive ratings. Dukes most of the time is reading cues. One program the staff laughed hard when he made some stupid mistakes.

The guy is just terrible. I think he's being faded out gradually.

I'm guessing ratings too. Probably thinks if I'm controversial, more people will watch me. I pretty much change the channel I see either him or Theismann. (Different problem with him, Theismann acts like he knows EVERYTHING)

Theismann also said Rodgers is the greatest passer ever or something close to that.

I get the feeling someone took his spot from him late in his career and he is taking it out on Rodgers because of what happened with Favre. I honestly like him a lot of the time, but he is always just dead wrong about Rodgers.

The same arguments were constantly thrown Favre's way concerning the talent around him. As far as I know, Favre played with only one Hall of Famer - Reggie, and he was on defense. If you look back at all the supposedly great players Favre had you will notice that none of those guys ever accomplished anything after joining another team. Freeman failed, Levens failed, Ahman Green failed, Bubba Franks, etc... All those guys had their best years playing with Favre. The same could be said for Rodgers and the current cast of players around him. Granted, we do have talent on this current roster, but you have to give Rodgers some credit for making them look better than they probably are.

Jamie Dukes probably has problems tying his shoelaces. I just look at him as another Skip Bayless, taking stupid sides just to stir up the pot.

At least I hope that's what it is, and he really is NOT that stupid.
