Simmons' article about Lambeau

If you haven't seen it, Bill Simmons has a new article about his trip to Milwaukee and the ensueing pilgrimmage to Lambeau Field las weekend. It's a real good article. I got goosebumps when he described Lambeau and I laughed out loud several times when he writes about his buddies.

The only problem is, that in expected Simmons' fashion, it will take you the rest of the afternoon to read it. It's got to be 8,000 words long. I finished it just past 3 o'clock. I started reading it on Tuesday. I haven't had time to sleep or eat. I've lost nearly 30 pounds. Maybe that's his hidden goal - to write an article so long that Wisconsinites lose weight.

very funny read, but as was alluded to, I grew a 3" beard while reading it! I love how he points out that the real fans (metal - benchers) get the best seats (up close) at Lambeau, while the rich fans (stadium seats) get the $hitty ones (nose bleeds)
