    We need a kick returner

Why don't we get Rossum back to GB in the free agency?

    He won't be that expensive!

"Allen Rossum, KR, Falcons: Normally, I wouldn't have a return man on the list, but Rossum is coming off a heck of a season and he won't cost all that much. "

This is a guy that is dangerous for a touchdown at almost any return!

Anybody hear what price range he's marketing himself at?

Don't forget, there's several guys in the Draft that could step up, too!

You guys read the last Gil Brandt article about the Combine yet?

I'm fearing more than we can afford financially that is... Personally I don't think we can afford NOT to pick him up.

I have not read Gil Brandt's article, I'll have to check it out.

Allen Rossum is not going to be expensive.

He is not much of a wide reciever, but boy this guy can return, and returners aren't expensive! Most articles I have seen about the free agency says he will come cheap.

Yes. He played in our nickle package while in Green Bay and from what I remember he did a good job.

As much as I'd like to see someone who can run like a Desmond Howard, back on the Special Teams, playing fo ol' Bonamego --- I don't feel it'll happen.

Something tells me Ted Thompson is going.... "ALL DRAFT"

I see it happening you know cause like hes kinda like a triple threat.....a kick returner/punt returner, a cornerback, and maybe possibly a reciever?.....if we choose to try him out as a reciever that is IF we go after him....

Looks like the Chargers want Rossum big time. That will probably make him unaffordable to us.

I remember reading/hearing something that Rossum didn't like Sherman or vice versa. So on that note, I have to agree he will not come back to GB if SD is making an offer, especially after the year they just had. The Packers haven't really improved much if at all, whereas the Chargers have. I'd rather see Ted pick someone up in the draft who can play as a emergancy WR and who is a good capable KR/PR in the draft.

I'd love to see Allen comeback, but GB has Nooooo money to sign anyone to include their own Draft Picks and RFAs. Likewise, Rossum had a great year last year and will probably command @ least a 1M dollar contract. He's getting pretty old as well, I believe he's 34? The thing GB should have never done was let him get away in the 1st place along w/ Hentrich. Those two moves have cost GB dearly over the years. GB hasn't been able to replace either one.
