At Family Night, Mason Crosby was nailing all his kicks through the uprights at the south end zone. However, he later missed several wide right kicking through the north end zone posts, even though the wind was blowing the American flag the other way on top the stadium. Coach McCarthy didn't seem concerned and mentioned the kicker and punter will have to get used to different wind patterns on the field brought on by the new south end zone seats and video board, which are now higher than the rest of the stadium.

I am hoping this has turned into another "home field advantage" for the Pack, maybe like Fenway Park's green monster is for the Red Sox.

Yes, I have a feeling this will turn into much bigger of a deal then people are making it out to be. Look for it to decide a few games in the next coming years on a last second field goal. Good or bad.

Like you said, hopefully Crosby and Masthay get used to it.

I said from the beginning it would screw with the wind. Rodgers will adjust easily enough, and with a few on field practices so will the kick specialists

Another factor that will play into the home field advantage will be much increased fan volume. My goodness, just sitting in the stadium and observing that big wall of seats one can actually feel how the remodeled south end zone will be rocking with additional noise.

This is big. There was always a bunch of sound in Lambeau, but a lot of it wouldn't stay in the stadium. The remodeling changes all of that. It is going to be seriously loud for opposing teams. BIG advantage.

Mason Crosby will do just fine. I'm worried about when Michael Irvin come to Lambeau to do a game and the strong wind catches those ears and sails him into the bay!
