Can you post without refering to yourself in third person, without the "TEE-HEE!!!!" and ridiculous tip of the day?

Dude, it may have been fun for you, but how long could it possibly last? I mean at least allow yourself the oppertunity to be taken seriously.

And please don't bother pulling any of your normal non-sense you do, because I will take it as off topic and delete the post. Be serious here.

This is in the smack area, right? I'm not saying Mr.Pickles contributes anything to the site here, but if he keeps his posts from being ridiculously offensive, why would you delete anything he replies to you here?

Its all part of the schtick, its humor, if you treat it as such, and don't take it as seriously as everyone seems to do, "I" feel its pretty funny.

Come on, football season is almost here, and in less than 2 weeks, "I" feel "I" personally made it a little shorter, and made you guys want to rub it in my face if the Packers do beat the Bears, I can see the threads in my head now:

    HEY PICKLES!!!PACKERS WON!!!

    WHERE IS PICKLES BEARS NOW!!!

Now I think I have showed I can dish it out and take it as well, and I feel I never crossed a line I should not have. Every sports site needs a bad guy, I'm the bad guy.

Just lighten up, or you'll get a ulcer, and thats not worth it.

    It's all in good fun!

The thread was started to get a serious reply, I don't want it turning into a packers vs. lions vs. bears thread that goes back and forth.

Thanks pickles, I just wanted to, and can see, you aren't really a pompous idiot. It is indeed in good fun, but in the past we have had people who act like that because they simply are a hinderance, and want to F around with others (not in a good/fun/joke sort of way). And those individuals (no need to say who, people know who they are) start out by posting int he smack area, and move out to spread their troll. So I think it is understandable where I was coming from.

Why not turn it into a Lions vs. Bears vs. Packers thread? What's the harm in that?
Well, it might be understandable but Mr.Pickles was tearing apart the Lions and it upset myself and a few other members of my board. And then I realized that the only reason I didn't like Mr.Pickles is because he's telling the truth! And no, the Bears DO NOT SUCK. Yeah, I thought they sucked too and were overrated, but then I started watching the film of the Bears and really had trouble coming up with a rebuttal.
If you're one of the people on this site who thinks ANY player for the GB defense can lick the boots of the Chicago defense, you're wrong. Partially, it's skill-level and partially it's because the Bears' defense works so well as a team with those 11 guys that it would be stupid to play anyone else. Green Bay's defense are low-class hookers and Chicago is the pimp with a jewel-encrusted cane, proverbially speaking of course. Except in the case of Lord Favre; he really does turn tricks for Vicodin.

Mr.Zero2Cool says this: Your Lions, Your Bears, Your Vikings, well quite frankly Mr.Zero2Cool and the rest of the educated world know they SUCK, now you've been educated.

You have just been educated by Mr.Zero2Cool. This class is free the next session will cost you your sanity.

You are so incredibly wrong to post this statement. This is the smack area. Mr. Pickles has never, to my knowledge, been even slightly offensive towards someone unless you count saying the Packers suck as offensive. But again, we are in the smack area. How many people have threatened to beat up Mr. Pickles? Those are the threads you should be deleting. If you don't like what he writes, don't read his posts. I think that he is somewhat funny and he has definately livened up the board. People that are getting so worked up over him need to relax.

If you really believe your above statement is warranted, then I think that you would have done well in the communistic USSR.

    Precisely longtimefan, thank you.

4th, I wanted a serious answer from pickles. The past week, we have had to deal with 3 different trolls.

I just wanted to know if Pickles was a pompous idiot, like Chase/SW, who came here to basically piss people off. In the old NC Forums, we had idiots like Phil_in_da_blanks come troll that form to no end, and it was stupid.

I found out that Pickles is just a rival fan talking smack, playing around. Obviously if we would have replied with his trademark "Mr. Pickle says..... Pickles tip of the day... TEE-HEE" stuff, well I think I would've had my answer as to what we had to do with Pickles.

Z2C, having an "easy" or "tough" schedule is all part of the NFL. Who would've known that those teams that they played would've been easy? It's not the Bears' fault that they don't play in a competitive division, so who really cares how "easy" you think their schedule is? Bottom line is that they dominated the NFC North. We can't take anything away from the Bears because we suck. You're just making excuses.
If it were the Packers that won the North last year and they had the Bears' schedule, would you say, "Yeah; we won because we had an easy schedule?" No, I'm pretty sure you'd be raving about Lord Favre's heroics and your defense. Tell the truth.

If the , no WHEN the Packers win the NFC North this upcoming year in my analsys (sp?lol) I will account for the easy schedule as I have ALREADY done in my prediction for their record.

If you read more of my posts sir you would realize I am a pretty straight arrow guy and tell it how it is, now how a fan wants to read.

edit, an easy schedule is part of the game, ur right there

First two games for the Lions this year? Seahawks and Bears. If we're 0-2, I'm not going to blame the schedule. It's not the Lions' fault that Seattle and Chicago are good teams just like it's not Chicago's fault that everyone else in the North pretty much sucks.
If the Packers win the division, you won't hear me saying that it's because the Packers have an easy schedule. It's all part of the game.

I'll admit they win because of the schedule, because I assume fans understand whether its a 'easy' game or 'hard' game the fact is you still must PLAY THE GAME.

When the Packers win the NFC North what can we expect to hear from you? Anything? Crickets? I'm willing to bet crickets ;)

If the Packers win the North, I will seriously come back and congratulate you guys. I'll admit that I was wrong about Favre and whatever else. And I'm dead serious.

But what if the Lions win? Will they still be a crappy team with a lucky schedule?

Bears two years in a row? Overrated and an easy schedule for the second straight year?

In the past we all know how hard it was for the Pack to win at Dallas and everyone just said get them here..That one game could have/might have been reason for home field thru out or not...

I know this isnt relevant now but it shows how a schedule can hurt a team in a certain way...Or like how teams hated to come to GB in winter and had troubles...It was the way the schedule plays out...

Yet when i would give you crap back, your final post to me was something about me putting your ball sack in my mouth. You come here, think your being smart, then when it's dished back you resorted to something like that.
Seems "It's all in good fun" until you know you've been one upped. Then you got down right rude. I never made any comment that you should suck on ANY part of my anatomy. My wit is far better then yours, and you couldn't take it. You seem GREAT at dishing it out, but when the ball is hit back hard into your own court, you get mad and want to lash out.
I have EARNED respect on this site. If you hand it out, be willing to also take it.
Seeing you actually post without the "schtick" is a good start. Now, if i respond again to one of your condescending posts, are you going to take it like a man, or tell me again to suk on something? Smack is fine it seems, unless it is being directed back towards you.
Respect is EARNED, not just handed out freely.

Sure, and like I said, just like injuries, scheduling is part of the game. Good teams learn to play through it and find a way to win. Tough or easy scheduling is not an excuse.

Yeah......but he owes me an apology for the ball sack comment. He doesn't know me, yet felt it was fine to make that kind of comment. Just because he's still here doesn't mean squat.
I never lowered myself to that kind of comment, even though he came to OUR site and insulted us from the start like we are all idiots because we are Packer fans. Had he STARTED with what he wrote in this thread, that he was playing the bad guy just for fun, that would have been different.
How would you feel if someone came to your home (which many of us feel this site is like) and started talking to you and your "family" like the were all bumpkins? Tell me you wouldn't think the person was a jerk. And would defend your home against such garbage? If you say you wouldn't, chance is you are not being truthful.
When he apologizes for what i consider a huge insult like he gave me, then i will consider him a man and give him respect.

*edit* I agree...if some of these posters would have started on this forum as they are now posting, things would have been much better.

Fans of other teams have always been welcome here as far as I can remember and they have a right to their opinion(s) regarding the Packers or anything else.

It's when the sole purpose of a poster is to piss people off is where I think the line needs to be drawn...

If you did come back to congradulate that'd be cool of you, hopefully you don't leave though :)

If the Lions win great. They probably have a weak schedule like the Packers considering they didn't fair too well the previous year.

Whichever team that wins the division the Bears will have the harder road and if they do win it again more props to them.

It's harder to do it two times in a row because other teams are gunnign for ya.

Well, from reading your posts, they have huge ****-erotic over tones. It could be possible that Mr. Pickles was giving you a refreshing idea? Like a popsicle on a warm, summer day?

If the Packers let themselves get old, and didnt think it was wise to upgrade any position of importance, why is It The Pickles fault for the Packers short comings?Or better yet, those who get upset over any "Bumpkin" comment, should look at themselves, and their families in the mirrior....wait, your from Wisconsin, maybe looking at your familiy is an unclean idea.

    Cheers!
