There is a cycle vs division opponents. Home-away one season then away-home the next. Also rotate through the 3 opponents for the last game. Last regular season ended vs Chicago. Won't happen again. Minnesota was 2012. It is Detroits turn. Last two games should probably be at Minnesota and host Detroit.

This would be my revised guess.

Am I the only one hoping we avoid Seattle in Week 1? While they will be tough to beat any week at Seattle, that place is going to be jacked through the roof on opening night.

This isn't boxing where you can pick and choose or dodge opponents when you don't think you are good enough. You go into their house on their night and punch them in the mouth. If you want to be the best you have to beat the best.

That's fine in theory, but from a realistic standpoint, playing in Seattle Week 1 is the closest thing to a sure loss that we are going to see. I will be rooting and hollering like any other Packers fan, but Seattle is a better team right now with a huge advantage at home.

Better to play them week 1 than halfway through the season after half our team is on IR.

I honestly do think we could win. I'd like to think we'll have improved enough this off-season to give us a chance. We'd be underdogs, of course, and rightfully so, but we definitely have motivation in such a game.

I don't think playing in Week 1 would hurt our chances at all. That place is going to be rocking either way -- does it really matter if it is 112 decibels instead of 108? Sometimes teams still haven't hit their stride in Week 1, still in Training Camp mode, etc.

Give me Seattle in Week 1 or Week 17 and I think our chances are pretty much the same. My only motivation for not wanting them for the Thursday night opener is the fact that I already know I'll have to work that evening.

Seems like it´s possible the schedule will be announced on Wednesday or Thursday. No official word from the NFL yet.

I'm trying to plan my vacation based on the schedule. Just put it out already.
Same , I intend getting to week 5 and 6 games and I'd love to know where , exactly , I'm going !! Hope it's 2 home games and certainly NOT another early bye week

No Way, I want that Seattle Game week 1. Seattle has major depth issues on D-line and the O-line has taken a step back. Van-Rotten might be there starting right guard. lol. They won't be able to stop Lacy and Starks. Play action will be there as I see Rodgers having enough time to eat hot dogs in the pocket. They wont get pressure with the 4 they have now and they will have to blitz. They lost 3 key defensive lineman. Screw there loud noise. I'm gonna be at the game and it doesn't get any better then beating the super bowl champs at there big loud house.

not really when your excited to make plans for travel arrangement to see pack based on schedule dates.

To me, looking at the list of opponents at the end of the season is more interesting than when they play. I plan on going to an away game or two but that's no matter when the games are scheduled.
