You know the sad thing is thats pretty close to being correct.

I'm sick of the 49er forums. You have to pretty much say Alex smith is amazing ! We're going to the Playoffs ! and such BS or everyone hates you. They don't like me because I see the team for what it is. In my eyes 5-8 wins for SF if gore and the line stays healthy. The defense will be last in the league again. If gore and a few lineman get hurt early it could easily be an 0 - 16 team.

I can't imagine a team being worse then the packers though. A vet QB who just doesn't have it anymore behind a young and terrible O-line. No super running threat(Ahman is done ). I can only name 4 guys on your defense.... You lost Javon Walker whose left... donald driver? man.......

No line... no recievers.... no rb.... I don't really blame Bret for being terrible.

Anyway I must say I love the packers. On draft day when you guys were up for that 5th pick I was so nervous... I know you guys desperately need a play maker on offense... I thought there was no way you guys would pass on Vernon Davis. Thank you guys.

Playing for the vikings is like a free money. You can play like **** and they will play you alot.

Get any head coach in the league to tell you who he'd rather build his franchise around. Alex Smith or Bret Farve. 100% of those coaches will tell you "neither". Yet if you force them to answer they'll pick alex smith. EVERYONE knows bret is DONE.

I agree with you that nobody on the niners roster has half the talent of bret farve when he was in his prime. To bad present day bret has about as much talent as joe montana did when the niners let him go.

I know the niners suck. I don't try to deny it. If you want denial go to the 49er message board theres tons of it there. Personally my wish is that GB drops mr. Farve. It's seriously the only way the franchise can start winning again. Use the money to get an O-line for Rodgers.

Seriously though, while I'll admit I haven't been watching the Niners closely, I have watched them a bit. Davis looks to have great potential, but he is making rookie mistakes. I am kinda surprised by the lack of catches he has had, considering only Bryant is a credible WR in the system. To be fair, Hawk hasn't stood out a great deal more in the games either.

Well Burnin Vernon is only on the field when alex smith is.... getting the picture? Thats why he doesn't have many catches... in fact I think 2 catches in the entire pre season....... Though he is blocking well. We'll really be a running team this year. It hurts me to know that we'll be running mr. gore into the ground .

It's to bad that Hawk hasn't looked good in the pre season but I'm guessing 100+ tackles for him this season. Maybe even a few big plays. He'll be a starter for the pack no matter what, right?
