So what do people think of him playing Sunday
I think the Bears will be forced to respect our passing attack once again and Lacy and Starks will both have a chance at 100 yards against them. When was the last time we had 2 100 yard rushers in the same game? 1962?

Did we? I know we've had 3 different guys do it but I don't remember if it was in the same game.

EDIT: Just went back and looked and no, we didn't have two in the same game.

With Rodgers, we have better than a puncher's chance. I'm happy as a stuck pig that he's back.

I doubt it.
He's been practicing even before this week.
And besides, he's Aaron Freakin Rodgers.
Best player in the NFL.

Week 17 2008. 2-100 rushers and 2-100 yd receivers. Lions finished perfect season. I was there. Don't recall it happening since.

Even though he has been practicing I do expect him to be a little rusty in the first half. I don't care if you've been practicing with the team during the week, nothing is the same as live, high paced, football. That being said I think it'll only be minor rust, maybe slightly less accurate and a few more incompletions than usual. Nothing serious. I'd love to be wrong though. And hey, maybe the Bears defense is awful enough that there won't appear to be any rust.

He hasn't been too rusty in the season's first games played since 2008:

2008 rating of 115.5 win against Minn
2009 " 92 win against Chi
2010 " 73.1 win against Philly
2011 " 132.1 win against N.O.
2012 " 93.3 loss to SF
2013 " 102.6 loss to SF

Ave. rating of 101.4 -- should be good enough for us to destroy the Bears' defense. The question is: can our defense stop the Bears?

He'll be rusty and probably even a bit tentative in the pocket until he gets hit the first time. After the first hit and his shoulder holds up (hopefully!!! *knocking on wood!!!!), I think we'll see the old Rodgers come out.

Do you have any stats after he's come back from injury. That would be relevant.
He hasn't been hurt for any length of time since becoming the starter in 2008. But, he played against Dallas in 2007 after Favre took himself out of the game. It was really the only game he played in that year (other than a few minutes against Minn. early in the season). Rogers was 20/28 for 218 yds and a TD. No int. rating of 106.

In 2010 he missed one game after a concussion and was 25/37 against the Giants for 404 yds with 4 TDs and no int. Rating 139.9

I'm not worried about Rogers. I'm worried about our defense.

Bears give up more yards and points than we do. In a shootout, go with the better QB. Rodgers vs Cutler = no contest.

Packers 37
Bears 28

I look for the Packers to open it up quickly on the Bears. Try to make them one dimensional. This could be a shootout since neither team plays much defense. I cant wait !!

He's not a rookie.
There will be no rust and he will prove all you doubters wrong.

If I'm right, I won't come back to rub it in. I'll just let his playing do the talking.
If I'm wrong then go ahead and pass me the raw eggplant.
