Rounds 1 & 2 only on Saturday?

Just saw on ESPN's draft central page that Day 1 is only rounds 1-2, with 3-7 on Day 2.

Is this a typo or was I just living in an NFL-less cave when they announced the switch?

Not a typo. They talked about doing this last October, along with reducing the amount of time in between picks.

I remember them reducing the round one time limit, but not the part about squeezing 4 rounds into one day. Bummer. Round three is like the last gasp of one of the most hyped, yet slow, events to watch.

there will be five rounds day two. Also seemed like they are starting earlier at least with coverage. Saturday it starts at like 8 am E when i thought it didn't start before 10 in the past.
