Rothlesberger Chokes

I was in a sports bar about 10 years ago, in northern Idaho, rooting for the Packers. There was an entire room full of Steeler fans. They were cheering so loud - and in unison, I thought the Steelers where killing their opponents. As I was leaving I ducked my head in and the Steelers where down by a bunch. I highly admired them for sticking with their team and cheering, even though they were going to loose. It doesn't bother me one bit that they love their team and feel they are better. Thats what makes the competition interesting.

The only fans that really annoy me, are a certain subgroup of Packer fans - those that love to complain. I'm not sure if every fan base has these guys. I have a relative who is this way, the Packers can be up by 25 and getting yards at will, but one play where a OL misses a block and the RB gets hit in the backfield and this guy throws up his hands and says "WTF! Every fricking time! Why cant' they block him!" What was the first thing he said after the SB? 'Good game, but they almost pissed it away at the end.'

What I don't care for are the sudden influx of Packers fans after they won the Superbowl. Kind of makes you wonder who they will be fans of if the Packers don't repeat.

And then yesterday against the Ravens the Steelers finally attained their "Stairway To Seven".
