Ross Verba was in jail overnight

    The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram is reporting this morning that former Green Bay Packer Ross Verba spent a night in the Eau Claire County jail this week.

    Verba apparently was taken into custody on a felony arrest warrant for a bad check in Las Vegas. He was released, according to the paper, after the custody hold was dropped by Las Vegas officials.

    Maybe HE was the Packer that punched the woman on New Year's Eve. Maybe she was too drunk and got confused.


    Wait a minute. Verba was dating Janelle from Big Brother. Didn't she win $25,000 as the fan favorite? Why does he need to write bad checks?

    Lions | Verba arrested on bad checks warrant

    The Associated Press reports Detroit Lions OG Ross Verba has been arrested on a felony warrant for writing bad checks in Nevada. A state trooper arrested Verba after pulling over a vehicle for speeding. Authorities said Verba was a passenger in the vehicle and was cooperative throughout the process. The trooper learned Verba had a felony arrest warrant from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the bad check unit of the Clark County, Nev., district attorney's office. Verba spent the night in jail and was released Wednesday, Jan. 3, after Nevada authorities lifted a hold on him. Verba had resolved a misunderstanding regarding an outstanding debt with a Las Vegas establishment.

    Mostly mouthing off to cops, too rowdy, public peepee, failure to pay a $20 fine on my dog who wandered into the neighbors yard ( his kids loved the dog, neighbor was a total prick ). Silly **** like that. None of it is on my record of course.
