He's just jealous that Aaron is the QB of the packers and just had a great season.

Real Packer fan here. I root for the team and admire the players while they play for the Packers.

I will never put a player above the team.

BTW, Desmond Howard was just as much responsible for getting the Packers to the SB and winning it as Farve was.

Actually by Favres own account they never would have made it or won it with out him.

Getting tired of those who think it was only because of Favre the Packers won the SB. Thats just retarded.

At first I was pissed, but then when I saw what Rodgers could do, I was alright with it. Now I'm glad it happened.:happy0005:

Anyone who thinks the Packers forced #4 out the door is kidding themselves. What sane HC and GM would boot their starting QB out the door just weeks after that player had the kind of season he just had and lead the team to the conference championship game?? Yes, TT drafted Rodgers but only after Favre had openly debated about retiring and a player originally thought to be taken #1 in that draft fell into TT's lap. It was FAVRE that got huffy that TT had the audacity to think of the franchise's future and not give #4 more weapons to play with back in 2005. If indeed TT and MM gave Favre a deadline to let them know what his plans were in 2008, is that an unreasonable request? And why would a player who says winning the Super Bowl is his goal and was just weeks ago an INT in OT away from the Promised Land would even think about retirement? No, I truly believe it was FAVRE who wanted to get out of GB. He even said at his teary "retirement" PC that March that the decision to retire was his and his alone and that he had nothing more to give to the Green Bay Packers. It is now quite evident that he had plently to give to other teams, especially MN. Because I believe he wanted to go to MN all along he can go to blazes.

I PERSONALLY hate Aaron Rodgers cause if he hadn't choked in the USC game in his senior year in college Auburn would've played USC for the National Championship, and 1. My favorite team *Auburn* would've played for a National Championship and 2. We wouldn't be reading about Reggie Bush screwing up the BCS all by himself...or in this case with Aaron's help. Seriously if you doubt me the final drive of the game is on youtube. He had them inside the 20 and down by 6...couldn't get them in.

That's the majority of why I hate Aaron. I also hate that compared to Brett he's a putz. Late in the game I'd rather have Brett, whether it's interception throwing Brett, Vicoden addicted and drunk Brett, or great Brett I always felt like we had a shot. Now I feel like we're always screwed. Yeah he completes 65% of his passes and throws for 4000 yards a season...but what does he do when the game is on the line? Have we seen an Oakland out of him yet? Heck I'd be happy with a Denver at this point!

I'm not dumb, my point merely is this...with the kid they got from Tech if he's any good Aaron seriously needs to step up his game or work on his "audition tape" for other teams. We need to see results late in the game...and results mean wins not 'almost wins'.

I don't see it as Favre beating the Packers or us Packer fans. I see it as Favre shoving it up Ted's *Insert preferred expletive here*! Which is what Teddy deserves and Mikey if he had anything to do with it.

Just to humor myself, I wonder what would it take for you to say Aaron Rodgers is a better QB than Favre?

Disregard for what is best for the team eh? You mean like coming back into a game with a concussion when he was TOLD to sit out the rest of the game and throw a TD upon hearing his backup had 'gone down'? (Granted on this one if I heard the story right it was like 4th and 18 and Brett may to this day not remember throwing the pass) Or how about the night he threw for 400 yards and what was it 5 TDs less than a week after his father died? Yeah he was a REAL diva that whole time he played through his wife's breast cancer! If you started watching PRIOR to the Superbowl years in the mid 90's you may remember a muddy game at Soldier Field in Chicago where Brett accounted for 4 of the Green Bay's 5 TD's by himself and ran for 99 yards. (3TD rushing 1 passing) All with a high ankle sprain that was wrapped so tight he could hardly walk, and which probably had led to his multiple ankle surgeries?

Yeah Brett was a REAL douche! And while we're at it I'm the first Episcopal Pope!

What's to fear? Aaron will NEVER be able to carry Brett's jock! YOU must be on meth if you got that I fear Aaron from my post. My point was this...Aaron's fans are gonna eat a lot of crow this year if he doesn't win it all, and prove that he's better than Brett like the AR fanclub believes him to be.

what was his choice? Be Aaron's backup and have his legacy dumped on by Ted and Mike? Come on man you know that was the only other option.

Are you forgetting one of Ted's first interviews where he said and I quote 'well Brett won't be here forever'? You can't tell me it wasn't planned to get rid of him!

Aaron's already blown it. By Brett's 2nd or 3rd game as a Packer he had a come from behind last minute victory. Aaron didn't do that. I'm a results oriented fan...Aaron doesn't deliver.

it has been 13 + yrs since a SB appearance and not to mention, 2 other opportunities on the line to get to the SB and his last passes were picked off....

that's not an opinion, not a lie, but facts

So since you say Rodgers doesnt deliver, one should conclude that Brett hasnt delivered in the last 13 years

    u kidding me?

you watch this and tell me seeing favre in purple doesn't piss you off...everytime I watch this I am hoping he breaks his hand on Jerod Allen's ***...You're more of a Favre Fan then a Packer Fan, why? Favre isn't the best QB in Packers History, yea he has a lot of stats, but Bart Starr was the guy who won BIG games late, bart starr won multiple world titles over and over and over and over. How many favre jerseys do you own? You definitely own a purple one.

I hope we absolutely own the Vikings with Favre on their team, well the "realpackerbacker" roots for the purple while wearing his purple favre jersey.

    Those are facts, and undeniable.
But besides those 2 horrible, stupid, choke-city Ints he threw (against The Giants with us, and the Saints last year), he also threw the horrific playoff overtime Int at the Eagles on the first fricking play of OT, in a game in which we averaged about 5 yards a run. So that's 3 he threw away himself.

Then don't forget the home playoff losses, when we were favored to win by 7 points, against Atlanta and Minnesota in games he was totally outplayed by Michael Vick, and Daunte Culpepper. Favre was cold in those games, and the weather really affected him.

And who could forget his double-hat trick of Ints against the Rams in that playoff blowout loss in I think 2000.

Don't forget his "gift" to the Vikings last year in the NFC Championship game. His boneheaded pass late in the 4th quarter prevented the Queens from a field goal attempt to win the game.

The bottom line is one thing: SUPER BOWL TROPHIES.
Farve leads Rodgers 1-0, but it took:
    A) Farve til his 5th season starting to win one
    B) Reggie White
    C) Desmond Howard
    D) Other free agents, tradees like Keith Jackson, Andre Rison, Santana Dotson, Sean Jones, Eugene Robinson, and Don Beebe.

Again, after Rodgers has started for 5 seasons, let's compare all of Farve & Rodgers accomplishments.

You love Farve? You must be a big fan of choking away Super Bowl chances at the biggest moments possible. Farve has a patent pending on that, and already owns 3 or 4 patents on that matter.
