in 2003 they had Mr. NFL iron man in #4 brett Favre and not an upstart like Aaron Rodgers at the helm. Yikes 8 sacks and countless knockdowns I would bet Mr Rodgers is sore today

Id rather Rodgers be a little sore than have thrown 3 picks which im sure favre would have done with our o-line.

Easy to have no picks when one gets called back on a bullshit call, and when your o-line can "block" and let you run around in the pocket for 7+ secs. In case you forgot favre also holds the record for MOST ints thrown by a qb, that being said you should feel embarrassed for yourself and your dumb *** comment. :viksux:

Cry cry cry, Hey the pack is already 2 back of the First place Vikings. Detroit and Green Bay are battleing it out of the cellar . go Lions beat the pack out for third place so half of Sconny would hopefully kill themselves. Did I mention Rodgers is jared Allens best Bitch!

Enjoy it now. When we meet again, you'll be 5-2 with losses to Pitt and Balti, and we'll be 4-2 after beating Cleve and Detroit.

And this time we'll get you at our house.

How in Earth is this a rant? Favre was though. Rodgers was sacked 8 times and knocked down coutless times, yet played very well, and isn't thought? Brilliant.

Enjoy Favre while he lasts. You might have him for a year or three, but sooner or later it's back to T-Jack while we'll have Mr. Rogers who despite the 8 sacks his numbers were excellent. I don't feel any jealously that the Vikes have Favre. He's a temp and an old one who'll be hitting the wall again by December.

If our O-line ever gets fixed..... I think GB fans will be making asses of themselves on your L.A. Viking forums in the future.

    Cheers

Tell us again when the last time was that the Vikings won anything that meant Super Bowl?

All seriousness, if you dont make the SB your season was a waste

LOL longtimefan, that's basically true. If the Vikes can't make the SB this year, it'll be sad. Every vikings fan is making it seem that no one can stop em.

2 td's a pic and a fumble and a bunch of garbage yards against a prevent defense. Your dreaming if you think the vikes are going to LA. It will never happen. They will get their stadium or a revamped Metrodome soon.Scare tactics with the LA talk but it is working because plans are underway as we speak so the Vikings will be here kicking Green Bays backside for years to come

Bahahahaha your either really ignorant or just plain stupid if you actually belive half the **** you are saying! Wow we are ONLY two games back and have how much football left to play? Not to mention yalls first two games were against such powerhouses! Talk it up while you can because you still have to come to Lambeau and Favre isnt gonna last forever.

Rodgers had nothing to do with being sacked.... I dont know what everyone is talking about... I have now seen the game twice, and he really donest hang on to the ball to long. He does what he needs to do... If pressure is getting to him (because the o line sucks) he scrambles and gets out of harms way and tries to make a play.... He threw one pick the entire game which is really impressive considering the amount of pressure he had in that game... He still threw for what... 384 yards and 2 touchdowns..... and only 11 incompletions.... Rodgers looked awesome for the o line he had... To be honest I would rather Rodgers be in that position then Peyton Manning...

I am a huge huge Colts fan, and does anybody remember when the Colts played Minnesota... Peyton Manning looked terrible especially the first half. IT wasnt until Peyton made that deep pass to Reggie they got something going.... Peyton threw 2 picks in that game and should have been three actually..

Rodgers did everything in his power to win that game with the o line he had.... He looked good, but yes he did get roughed up... Keep in mind Green Bay doesnt have to play Minnesota every week.... Against a defense like Detroit, and the Browns Rodgers will be just fine.

Rodgers is a great QB, maybe top 5 in league IMO. It pains me to say that. He will be one of the greats. If he gets some improvement on the line he will shred all kinds of defenses including the Vikes. The question is can the Defense with a new scheme stop Minnesotas offense which is still working out the kinks. Brett is starting to find Berrian which was non existance the first 2 games. When your throwing the ball before the reciever breaks it takes time for a qb & wr to figure where they are going to be. He looked great the other nite and if he stays healthy The Vikes will be a very tough foe. Favre did not go through a Training camp this year and it is a system he perfected so maybe he will have better results than the end of last year. Could you guys be wrong to bring up the jets ended on a sour note and it was all because of Brett Favre? Elway won a super Bowl at 38 so keep talking smack after all you guys are chaseing us so get it done on the field and prove us Vikings fans wrong! SKOL Vikings!

Brett also had ALL day to throw he never once was really bothered by any pass rush

When he gets blitzed from Pitt and the Ravens and still can deliver then SKOL!

But that remains to be seen

yeah were hopeing to win at least 2 more wins so we finish 6-10 and that way we can start 2-2 and blame it on the refs and the Vikings being unlucky and such next year. I wonder how many packer fans with take me word for it if I stated this story to them? So I will take a "wait and see" approach before I declare you the Victor if you don't mind my friend. I guess will have to have it settle this on the field and let the results of the season tell the tale. Sound fair?

what? wow are we not on the smack forum here. It was a joke, relax or take a chill pill. All I am saying is I am not going to change my mind about the packers until i see it in the standings. It could be this year but so far it hasn't so I want to watch GB win the north and not hear about before it happens.

scared me there. Just haveing some fun with you guys is all. It least I wasn't ragging on your team or any member like some posters do. I am not even saying you won't win the North this year am just saying you will have to bring it to stay with the Vikes in my mind and so far the vikings took one tie breaker away from as there is no more possibility of a sweep for you shall we share the same record. That may not seem important now but if in chance the Vikings win in Lambeau( again not saying it is automatic) that would be huge. I think it will be barn burner of a game that maybe bigger than the first one. I won't miss a second of it. I think it could be a three team race in the North to tell you the truth. It is pretty much is on Brett because i am not impressed with some of the chillyball with a 10 pt lead. Brett was at %77 percent for the night and had three catchable balls dropped. Adrian was getting stuffed and then trys to get cute throwing that ball on 3rd & long when he should of had them throwing the ball on first when you guys were expecting us to run to kill the clock. Its not like Brett wasn't hitting his targets. That is bad coaching. Should be an interesting season!
