Yeah Greg.. the timing seems a little odd.. but I kinda was waiting for this to come.

If he has a couple strong games I would guess that the new agent would get the wheels turning on a new contract. He is going to want to recapture some of the lost incentive money over the couple years.

I hope he plays his cards right and is patient, but if he start popping off publicly out wanting a new deal.. people might get a little peeved until he proves it over a course of a year at the least. His payday will come.
