I made it a point to hear him speak at last year's Fan Fest. You can see the effect he has had on the team.

It sounds like he has the respect and buy-in from the players. If I'm not mistaken, I think he (along with McCarthy) brought in a more "Free Weight" approach. Sherman was a believer in using more machines and less free weight.

BTW - this is not a bash on Sherman; just some insight and nothing more...
