Restricted FA Tenders

    It would appear the Pack will match the best offer, if any, for these two guys:

    Shields: 2nd. round tender
    EDS: original pick tender (undrafted, no compensation)

    There is no news indicating Francois or Crabtree received tenders.

    That sounds about right - 2nd should be high enough to avoid losing Shields, and the other three probably are less highly thought of by the league than we as fans and presumably the Packer staff think of them, so they should be safe.

    I would not be surprised if Shields and EDS receive offers.

    A 2nd. rounder for a reasonably priced cover corner is hardly out of line. EDS as a cheap C/G backup, or perhaps even as a C starter as we intend to use him, should be attractive to some teams given no compensation is required.
