Well Mr. Goodell, a.k.a Scott Walker hates Unions so therefore we get replacement refs. My god this is horrible. This is exactly what will happen to Wisconsin schools soon!! Replacements..

Why are the Packers taking part in this extra point?

Title of this thread should be past tense: "Refs cost us the game."

the NFL will never fire these scabs. That was a pretty intense ending but how they missed the blatant offensive pass interference is beyond me.

I just wish McCarthy hadn't brought anyone out for the extra point kick. The players and coaches need to stand up to this absolute pathetic attempt at officiating.

We got burned of course. These refs suck. But they barely suck more than the actual NFL refs (Just ask the Lions).

I like what the NFL is proposing for refs. The refs union can suck it.

I started the thread midway through the 4th, I didn't want anyone saying I felt that way bc of the outcome.

I can't understand how Sitton and Lang are honestly gonna get fined, or anyone else for the lack/errored calls.. Lack of freedom of speech much? But still...this is a nightmare of a game, worst officiated game ever? Think so. Just hope Sitton and Lang don't get suspended, and we come back next week with a chip on our shoulder to come out stronger, not let ourselves become a victim again under these b***s**** circumstances.

Please God, I hope that the next issue of The Onion has a front-page feature dealing with this game/NFL/Goodell-Owners/Replacement Refs. I really, really need a good laugh after this game. I'm still dazed and confused.

I'll bite, the refs are making safe calls trying to protect their own *sses by making the less controversial call. When asked why they made it, they agree that it was the best decision at the time. Also some BS about player safety. (This question being answered before the final play in mind.)

After final play. Refs wanted to make it out of the stadium alive, and figured to give it to the home team. Could you imagine if this happened in Lambeau? Even the GB PD probably couldn't of cared what would happen to the Refs they'd be escorting out.

Freedom of speech doesn't apply to place of employment.

What is this post really about?

More accurately, the Constitution doesn't apply to private employers (except for the thirteenth amendment, which applies to everyone). Freedom of Speech certainly comes into play with public sector jobs.

Yep- I was sort of contextualizing my comment about refusing to appear for the extra point.

The home team bias these refs have showed this year is ridiculous.

I hope that this will not be the win we are missing to qualify for the playoffs at the end of the regular season.
Will be a tough season for us this year, not only because of the refs.

I guess the "Twelfth man" was actually there last night, wearing stripes !!!! A blind man, with a blind guide dog would have seen that last offensive interference and interception FFS.

Honestly this shouldn't have come down to this. The o-line was so crappy for the whole game Rodgers couldn't take one step back before those guys were on him. Even when he could he made terrible throws. The whole offense except maybe Benson played horrible...but this is ending just made the game even worse.

I actually agree with this but at the same time Seattle is a tough place to play and Rodgers was getting pounded for most of the game and still ended up leading the Packers to a game winning drive and the D held their own.

It was a hard fought gritty win that was taken away.
