I'm not a rap & hip hop fan although, once in a while, I hear a song that makes me tap me my foot. I do however respect EVERYONE's choice & genre for music..It's an expression for who you area. Rap On, Shawnsta!!!

I listen to other genres more often, but by no means are you talking to a wall here.
I thought MellowHype and (especially) Shabazz Palaces put out great releases last year.
I still have a soft spot for Golden Age stuff more, however: Boogie Down Productions, EPMD, Eric B. & Rakim, and particularly Public Enemy ('It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back' still casts a large shadow).

was a very big hiphop head until a couple years ago. Its more casual now, I dont seek out the underground stuff as much.

A huge Jay-z fan though.

Kanye is the best musically performer I have ever seen and I have seen hundreds of acts from all different types of music.
