I have facts as does anyone else who's been reading this forum. One, TT did no draft Alexander as their article claimed. Two, Gado didn't receive six TD and receive one TD, he rushed for six TD and received one TD.

Give me Bob Harlans number and I will contact him about this as I find this very disheartening that our 'official' packers website has these inaccuracies. In fact, it embarrasses me.

Edit, seriously give me Bob Harlans number or his email and I will get him the message.

Someone find Cheesy...he drove up to GB one day, marched into Lambeau and asked the secretary if he could see Bob Harlan. Few minutes later who comes down but Harlan... he has pics and I'm sure a better telling of the story as well

If that story is true, it's awesome! I've heard about Harlan answering his own phone to concerned fans but never actually meeting them in person. We need more executives in the business industry like Bob Harlan. I think the GB organization will miss him after he retires...

Packinsteel is telling the truth............last summer i was up at practice, and even though it was not raining, the ground was wet from the previous day. So practice was held in the Hutson center. Well, i had time to burn, so i went over to the Atrium, and walked up to the information desk and asked to see Bob Harlan. The lady asked if i had an appointment, i said "No, but i would really like to meet him if possible, and to maybe get my picture with him." She got on the phone, and called him up......she said, "Ok, i'll tell him." and expected to hear "He's too busy to come down right now" (Which had happened a few times to me before) Well, instead, she says "He'll be right down." A few minutes later, here he comes across the Atrium floor! He autographed a photo i had taken of him another time, and stood with me while i had the receptionist take 2 pictures of me with him! Talk about a CLASS ACT! He even remembered me from quite a few years back. I and my wife were driving on the expressway towards Milwaukee, when she saw a beautiful pearl Cadilac. She wanted a closer look, so i sped up to get next to it........here it was Bob Harlan driving! I told my wife "Thats the Packers President!" She said "SURE it is!" (She knows what a joker i am!) I said "NO! I'm NOT kidding!" And i beeped the horn and waved! He smiled and waved back. When i had to get off the expressway, HE beeped the horn and waved again! I wrote to him how much i appreciated his acknowledging me like that, and he sent me back a hand written note on his stationary! He told me if i ever was up in Green Bay, to stop by and say hi! (Which i also told the receptionist!) And he remembered me! He said "Your the guy that i saw on the expressway!" (Guess i must leave a lasting impression!)
The man is a CLASS ACT FOR SURE!
I even wrote the story and emailed in a copy of the picture of me and him, for the "Packer stories" on Packers.com, but they haven't used it yet.

holy cow - that is a fantastic story cheesey!! seems like he's a really nice guy & to remember you from the freeway - that is so cool!!

eastcoast, if i'm not mistaken, those are tiles that you can purchase for the atrium. they sell tiles & bricks in different sizes & prices that you can put your name on or as a memorial to someone - they're really cool.

Hi eastcoast! Sorry i didn't get back to you right away, but 4pack is correct. They have those throughout the Atrium, and also outside in the sidewalk. Tiles for memorials, or just to show your Packer Pride. Of course, the bigger ones are for the people that donate more money.

I THINK the big tile behind us is actually Bob Harlan's family tile.
I remember the first time i walked into the Atrium.......it's quite a sight! You will enjoy it Eastcoast!!! (But bring LOTS of MONEY!!!)

LOLOLOL!!! Sometimes that IS true Allabout!!! (Believe me though.......sometimes it's NOT!)
I have had some "close encounters" with Packers, past and present, and it never gets old! The thing is, before computers, i never realized how many Packer fans there are around the world that never get the kind of opportunitys like i sometimes get. I have LOTS of stories like that.
Last year, when i was at Fan Fest, i had people from all over the U.S. that recognized me from my writtings, and picture on that other site, and it was really neat! I had people yelling "HEY! Your Cheesey!" And i'd end up talking to them for awhile. That went on all weekend up there. Of course, since i got booted from that site, i will now live in the shadows!
