I went there for the first time today and...holy god. Those people are so obnoxious and immature it isn't even funny. They have whole sections dedicated to anti-packers stuff. Even their main banner makes fun of Favre. In their polls, they have 3 answers, and the 4th answer is "Pack Blows!" What the hell is wrong with these people? I didn't even post anything or reply to one of their stupid posts. I feel sorry for them to be honest. They even have an entire section in their forum to bash the packers. So sad. The best part was that they think they will make the playoffs. PLAYOFFS!?!?

I am glad this site doesn't take that low road like their site does. It is retarded.

There was a time in the 70s when I respected the Vikings. I did not like them but I did respect them.
Bud Grant, Fran Tarkington, Chuck Forman, Alan Page, Jim Marshall.
They played good no bulls**t football and played it outdoors in the cold. Something happened after they went inside the Dump Dome that made me lose that respect for them and then they turned into a bunch of jerks with Chris Carter and Randy Moss. They just became very unlikeable.
I hate the Packers but I respect them. The Lions on the other hand don't cause much emotion one way or the other for me anymore and at times I actually feel sorry for them.

Tromadz You go there again... drag Vikes93animal by his fat *** back over here. This bonehead is a decent guy for a Viqueen fan. I know its hard to believe and hard for a packer fan to admit...but i kind of miss that guy.

That is true with most Viking sites. They cannot say anything about their organization so it is all anti-Packer stuff. You don't learn anything there. They have nothing. It is a team of mostly free agents and no tradition.

You can't take the Lions seriously.

You must take the Bears and their history seriously. They are an organization that has reason to have some pride. If Packers don't win the division I would rather an old school team like the Bears represent the division.

How in the world do you register on the purple pride. We tried a whole bunch of user names, but they told me they were all invalid except for one which had already been taken. What kind of a name do they want? Anybody have any ideas.

I can't say I respect the Vikings at all. They are a bunch of thugs with fair-weather fans. Living in ND, the majority of fans bleed purple. You should have heard the talk shows when they started out slow. They suck, they should fire Tice, McCombs didn't spend the money to compete, etc. Now that they've won a few, the shows are saying things like: wow, if the Vikes win out, should Tice get an extension or be named coach of the year?, Brad Johnson is a great QB and Daunte isn't the "winner" that Brad is, etc.

I'm telling you right now, the Packers could go 2-14 this year and I'm as diehard as ever. GO PACK!!!

I have to say,,the Vikes fans are very fair weathered.....I was at the Monday night game -Vikes vs Pack,,,,and I live in MN,,,,,It is amazing to see all the purple come out when they are winning,,,,true definition of fair weathered fan there. At least I have to say,,,,Even with the Pack sucking it up,,we still remain faithful. I hate to admit it....Bear fans seem to be the same way....pretty faithful. A month ago,,,,when the whole central division was sucking,,I saw a couple wearing their bears clothes. I had to smile because seeing more bears and packers clothes then people supporting their purple gay pride in Minnesota,,,when the vikes where also sucking---cheer when they win,,,boo when they lose, and pretend you are not a fan---fair weathered fans,,yup yup.

Yeah, that Monday night game last year against the Titans with the Pack fans booing and leaving early really showed a lot of faith. It was only the fourth game of the season.

No team of any sport has the best or better fans.

I agree with you NDPackerfan and Wayne. Wayne, we live in MN too, and I have noticed all of a sudden all of the purple appearing. It was quite a scarcity before they started on their "winning" streak. Quotations because their "winning" streak has been against the poorer teams. Tice himself has admitted that they have an easy schedule. You go to the malls in the twin cities area and you see more green and gold than purple and yellow--even this year when the Pack is having a losing season. There's always next year when all of our players are healthy.

Z2C no it's a very popular vikes site.

And even though this is in the smack area, the owner of the site is a decent guy. Now say what you want about the participants.

Then again I am not really all about some of the class-less postings they have about the pack, i.e. the header logo on the home page about favre, but if that's how they want to run their stuff, that's their decision.

Seriously.......it's like anywhere else. You ALWAYS have your "fair weather fans". I don't care which team it is. Me, i wear my Packer gear ALL the time, win or lose. And i get comments like "You STILL wear it when they suck so bad?" And I just proudly say YUP!!! They have been my team since i was a little kid..........you don't love them cause they are good, you love them because they are YOURS!

Are any team's fans better then others? In some cases yes.........to me, it's how they treat others, and what respect they have for others. Me, i tease the heck out of my Viking fan friend, and my Bears fans friends, but it ALL in fun. Never to be mean or cruel. I can take it too.......they have had the "bragging rights" this year. And they hold it over me. But I know it will change, and i'll get even! :D
Some places, like Philly, I have heard horror stories on how they treated fans from other teams. Thats just plane wrong. Tease them in fun, but don't be hurtful or physically attack them.
Back in the 1970's I was at a Milwaukee Bucks Chicago Bulls game in Milwaukee (believe it or not, the Bucks won) and some "fan" from Chicago punched my friend's wife in the face! (WE had to save the Chicago guys life, as my friend was gonna KILL him!) My friend got ONE hit in on the guy before we stopped him, and the guy flew 6 rows down.

At least we play as MEN... on a frozen football field in the sub-freezing cold. Not as you girlie-men Vi-Queens do... in a dome, out of the elements. Don't forget to take your make-up Queenies...

Gee, the queens should be so proud to beat a team that was playing with a third string quarter back. Even the associated press reporters are saying that the queens winning record--with the exception of the giants--is against poor teams. I know, I know. The queen fans will say a win is a win is a win, but a win beating teams with poor records and third string players. Come on now, girls!!!

You can only play who's on your schedule. The fact is that the Queens have rolled off 6 wins in a row which is an accomplishment regardless of who you're playing.

Yes, it is an easy accomplishment when you play a team with a third string quarter back or you play a team where so many of the players are out for the season. Yes, I have to agree that is quite an accomplishment. Living in MN and listening to the queen fans bragging about how great they are kind of gets on your nerves after awhile. Now, they are going to the SB. Go Chicago!!!!!

You really don't but you're in our neighbourhood. We have 15-20 million in cap space next year depending on the number it's set at (that's over and above the amount reserved for rookies and RFA tenders), which is #2 or #3 in the NFL. Last I heard the Queens were #5 with around $10-$15 million.
