Hi Jonathan. I am leaving on Wednesday and won't be back for 12 days. I hope to hear that you have asked Kelsey before I leave, and what her response was. Guess maybe I will have to go to the media center on the ship and find out what happens with you. Again, good luck.

LOLOL Carol! Isn't it something how we all get involved in something like this? I think in my case, it's because it reminds me of myself and what i went through.
Jonathon, don't feel bad that you didn't get your license before she did......it's just one of those things! It doesn't mean your dumb or anything, you probably just were too nervous! You will do fine next time!
Passing or failing a driving test doesn't make you dumb, or an Einstein. (Believe me.......i see SOME people and wonder....."How did THEY get a driver's license!?!?")

    Jonathon,

    Very simple solution here.

Join a gang. Crips or Bloods, does not matter just join a gang, if Kelsey says no there will be a gang chick that will be willing to go with you and secondly if you are in a gang no one will make fun of you becuase she said no.

Secondly... Get a tatto on you left bicept that says "Kelsey" Show it to her before you ask her. How could she say no after you did that for her? If she does say no, just change the tatto to Kelsey Grammer "Cheers was a pretty funny show."

Thirdly, Steal a nice car, pull up to the school bus stop and ask her if she wants a ride to school before you show her the tatoo. Chicks love nice cars even better than tatoos of their name.

Finally... Understand I am just kidding... It is my sick sense of humor.

What you really need to do is this:

Ask her, if you may ask her father , if you may take her to the prom.

This should impress the both of them if she is a good girl, and her family are good people.

You sound like a good kid Jonathon... Trust Raider Pride on this.

Ask her, if you may ask her father, if you may take her to the prom.

    RP

If you do decide to join a gang, as RP suggested, make sure you don't get involved with The He-Man Woman Haters Club. Their initiation is pretty demeaning; and it would probably hurt your cause with Kelsey.

If you do join the gang, asking her father for permission is pointless. Simply tell Kelsey that if she doesn't go to prom with you, your "homies" will beat her father to a bloody pulp. That should get her attention.

Yes, my husband says the same thing. He tells me that he missed a lot of opportunities--thank goodness--because he was too shy. If he had taken advantage of those opportunities, we probably wouldn't have met, and I probably==because I live in MN==would have married a queens fan. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Thank you all for your input. I am not joining a gang, though.

I know........from expierience...........rejection hurts! But not knowing can hurt even more. If someone else asks her first, and you find out later that she WOULD have went with you had you asked, you will feel even worse!
You are up to bat.......you may strike out, or you MAY hit a homer!!!
SWING AWAY my friend! You can't hit ANYTHING just standing in the on deck circle!!!

Just tell her you have no interest in going to the prom.

She will end up forcing you into going!
