    You are 100% wrong.

Very few Muslims support the radicals. It is a very contorted interpretation of the Koran that the radicals supporting violence read. The greatly diminshed incidences of terrorism in the last 10 years has something to do with what we have done in Afghanistan, but a far greater impact is the rise of conservative Muslims and their involvement with exposing the radicals among them.

We cant win a WORLD series or a SUPERBOWL as only Americans play in it....lol I am old enough to remember that world cup win, and yes we do go on about it a bit, but we have very little else to talk about ;) I also see you are a Chelsea supporter, not a fan of soccer then ?

Non taken, i've always supported Chelsea, i liked the colours and got into them that way. In the 80s they weren't exactly on Liverpool or ManUs level. Up here most folks have two teams, one Scottish and one English. My nearest Local side is Ross County so i also cheer for them.:)

Read the polls - about the so-called "muslim street". Look at the news videos about massive demonstrations of support for the whatever evil deeds against Jews, Christians, westerners in general - anything and anyone who is civilized and decent. My estimate is 90%+ muslims in America and 99%+ worldwide are of that mindset - and the polls back that up.

Many outside the US see all of us as ignorant bigots. Yet that segment of our society is pretty small. For example, the entire PF community here, there is apparently only 1.

Let me get this straight ....... somebody is a bigot who identifies muslims as the single most vile force opposing all that is decent and good in the world - and the gigantic majority of muslims as supporting that vile force? Uh OK. I guess I have to paraphrase Patrick Henry: "if this be bigotry, make the most of it".

No. A bigot is someone who says things like: muslims as the single most vile force opposing all that is decent and good in the world. It is terribly ignorant and attitudes like this are exactly the reason why there is so much strife in the world. There are evil Muslims in the world, who are ignorant and hateful. But how are you any different in your attitude?

So we are in agreement, muslims are ignorant and hateful - it just comes down to the percentage who fit that stereotype and those who do not. I say 90 - 99% evil, 0 - 10% not supporting that evil. What would your estimate be? The difference you mentioned? I and almost all Christians, Jews, people in other western countries just want to live our lives in decency and normalcy and see good done in the world. Muslims - the huge majority - want to tear down all that is good, exterminate the Jews, turn back the clock about 1400 years on civilization, exploit and intimidate women, and assorted other varieties of evil. Can you really deny that? I think even the muslims themselves would cop to having that mindset.

Actually I think extremely fundamentalist Christians would happen to agree with that sentiment. My grandparents (if they were still alive) would also.
