The list is from the highest(paid) to lowest. "*" are free agents. When you look at some of the contracts TT is looking at (Collins, Jolly, Pickett) you take into effect that in another year players like (Finely, Havner, Flynn, Pat Lee, Jenkins, Brandon Jackson, James Jones, Bishop) will be upping their contracts, all of these players are making at 600,000(except Jenkins) or less. Then you also have to add this years free agents/trades and draft picks.

People go crazy when Collins has not been signed, he deserves a new contact, but how high do you go. There is not unlimited money

**Duke Preston, C-G $200,000 ---- ----

Just looking at the list, Flynn makes 400,000 and has won the backup duties while Brohm makes almost 3 times as much as third string. Then he jumps ship to the Bills.

Mathews is a bargin at what he is paid compared to Hawk, Brad Jones is probably the best player in regards to return on investment at only 325,000

I think it is interesting that Clifton makes 4 to 8 times as much as the other starting lineman, I know the left tackle is important, but the pay scale shows why we have problems on the O-line. If you rate Cliftons performance against Colledge, taking into account pay, Colledge does not look so bad.

Crosby should earn loads more!!!!
And so should teachers, firefighters and anyone else who makes a difference in our lives and/or puts their lives on the line.

No offense. I think that sports players are way overpaid just to play a game and to entertain us.

I agree. And on the top of my list is the Police because no one does a more difficult job day in and day out and not compensated enough, especially in alot of state positions.

Crosby makes more than enough for missing 1/5 of his FGs.

After looking at that list, which players do you think will not be a Packer next year?

Well here is my ideal scenario:

Brady Poppinga gets traded: Hasn't adjusted to the 3-4 and has not even shown improvement being used in the 1-5-5. Hopefully TT can sucker another GM into giving up a quality draft pick for him.

Ryan Pickett leaves: OK I know I'm going to get some bashing for this but c'mon. Pickett didn't even finish the whole season this year and is slowing down. Couple the fact that BJ Raji and Bustin Harrell are being paid top dollar for sitting on the bench, do we really want to pay another DT superstar money? If so then I suggest Casey Hampton. The steelers said that they don't plan on retaining him and Hampton has anchored a 3-4 for years.

Jarret Bush leaves: self explanatory

Spencer Havner or Donald Lee traded: Finely is going to be an all-pro TE in the next 3-4 years, period. The only worry we have now is who is going to play backup. Lee is on the decline so we should trade him away for some value while we can. Same goes for Havner except that Havner is up and coming which means trading him could be a good thing. Again TT can really sucker in another GM to give up a 2nd or 3rd rounder for Havner because I beleive this kid can truly be a starter.

Colledge leaves: I hate his attitude, said that he deserves top dollar but isn't playing like a top 15 guard in the NFL.

Jeremy Thompson waived: The guy is clearly suffering from a life-threatening injury and playing football will only make it worse. I hope he finds a bright future somewhere else or maybe the packers organization will offer him an intern job for inactive players at a lower salary.

Blackmon leaves: I don't think he can play cornerback. He was drafted only to return kicks and punts and if you take him out of his natural element it is only logical for them to continue declinging. Just ask Devin Hester.

We should cut Jordy Nelson....and bring back Jeff Query. I would also love to replace Brandon Jackson with Vince Workman. I should be GM.
