    The media will build a guy up until he reaches the top then tear him down after the peak. McNabb is also getting it and Brady will soon enough. In a couple of years you will hear how Peyton Manning has "lost it" and is not as good as his brother.

    "Insider" stuff is usually filled with rumors and those who will supply some gossip.

    Like anything else......the vultures smell blood, so they swoop in to "feed". Like was said before.........they do it to ALL great players. (Some deserved.........like Emmitt Smith hanging on YEARS after he had "lost it".) It HAS to be hard for a player to face his own demise.........to face when the talent has run out. I DON'T think Brett's "washed up" yet.........he just needs some support from his team mates.
