The Green Bay Packers have signed fullback Quinn Johnson. The signing was announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Johnson, the first of the Packers' two fifth-round draft picks, appeared in 40 career games, including 15 starts, at Louisiana State. He carried the ball 16 times for 34 yards and five touchdowns during his career, also catching five passes for 54 yards.
Johnson is the sixth of the Packers' eight draft picks to sign with the team.
The team also announced it has released tight end Carson Butler.
