The Green Bay Packers have released S Matt Giordano and DE Michael Montgomery. The transaction was announced Friday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Giordano was signed Sept. 23, 2009, and appeared in five games during the regular season.
Montgomery, a sixth-round selection in the 2005 NFL Draft, appeared in 56 games over the course of five seasons with Green Bay.
