Red Bryant has already signed with the Jaguars and according to Houston's agent the Packers haven't inquired about him.

Right but it was reported Bryant had a meeting scheduled in GB for yesterday, and who knows about Houston.

I think it's very diffucult for everybody to figure out what is really going on with some of these guys. We'll know more about it within the next few days.

One could surmise that Thompson replied, "good player", when asked about Houston, that taken as bona fide interest because the word "player" has one syllable more than Thompson's usual monosyllabic responses.
