Packers Mock Draft Results

On one of the message boards that I spend a lot of time on, they had a mock draft where each team was represented by at least one user. Only trades that involved 2011 draft picks were allowed and there weren't many trades. I made all but one pick for the Packers and here are the results:

1.32 - Justin Houston, OLB, Georgia
2.32 - Drake Nevis, DT/DE, LSU
3.32 - Ronald Johnson, WR, USC
4.32 - Chris Carter, OLB, Fresno State (This is the pick I did not make. Really wasn't wild about this selection.)
5.32 - Chykie Brown, CB, Texas
6.32 - Armon Binns, WR, Cincinnati
7.1 - Josh Davis, OT, Georgia
7.32 - Shaky Smithson, PR/KR, Utah

I really hope either Houston or Akeem Ayers fall to us at 32. Houston is explosive as a pass-rusher and has all of the physical tools you want in a 3-4 rusher.
Nevis' highlights were very impressive as well, reminded me a lot of Cullen Jenkins. Very good pass-rusher and would be great as the 5-technique in Capers' system.
Ronald Johnson catches the ball well, has good size and is a solid route-runner. He doesn't have elite speed or size but I think he has the potential to be a solid #2 WR in the NFL.

The best pick IMHO is the one you didn't make. Carter is as athletic as Houston, and getting him at the bottom of the 4rd is a steal.

BTW, there's one pick missing. We have a compensatory 4th pick.

Certainly not the first time I've seen Houston mocked to us at 32. I don't know who the right pick is, but I will not be pleased if we draft him.

Any of the players can be coached so long as they have the character to be humble and allow coaching. So long as he's a talented player at a position of need and doesn't have character concerns I'm fine.
