The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. will host a book signing for the new book, Lombardi Legacy, Sunday, Dec. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Hall of Fame. Book authors Dave Robinson, a Packers Hall of Fame member, and Royce Boyles will be on hand, as will Packers Hall of Fame wide receiver Boyd Dowler, former Packers wide receiver Bob Long, former Lombardi secretary Lori Keck, and Pat Cochran, widow of former Lombardi assistant coach Red Cochran.
The book's subject is how Vince Lombardi ran the Green Bay Packers dynasty and his role as racial pioneer, contract negotiator, mentor and tyrant. Encompassing 340 pages, with 30 chapters and 50 photos, the book features interviews with players, players' wives, secretaries, staff members, friends and sportswriters.
The book will be on sale for $24.95 in the Hall of Fame. Autographs will be free with the purchase of the book, and can include other items in addition to the book.
