This isn't about politics. This is about someone possibly interfering with the start of the NFL season. Much more serious than Politics.

So when you said, Obama couldn't possibly to anything smart in a previous post in this thread that wasn't politically motivated? Seriously....there is a no politics policy on this forum.

No it wasn't. And if you take it that way I will delete it. It was meant that ANYONE should not mess with the start of NFL Football.

I'm pretty sure the White House knows that interrupting the kickoff to the first game of the season, after a long lockout, a game that is an oasis from the real world, that everybody is looking forward to, would be a political blunder of historical proportions.

George W. Bush would take a lot of heat when he'd disrupt American Idol.

This is many, many times worse.

No way NBC preempts the NFL opener for a speech about job creation.

NFL game = $$$$$ for NBC.

If they preempt the Packers game for a speech on job creation it will lead to job loss. Because any NBC excutive who decides to air the President's speech over NFL football will most likely get fired!
