I was just messing with the playoff generator over on ESPN.com and if the Vikings pull this out tonight, we could have an interesting opportunity next week.
We have the advantage of playing after the Bears game is over next week. If they lose tonight and then lose to the Jets next week (very possible), the we will be in a situation where the outcome of the Giants game becomes irrelevant. Whether we were to beat the Giants or not, the winner of the Pack/Bears game would get the #3 seed and the loser would go home.
SO, if you're MM, do you rest some key starters, like Driver (hammy), Matthews (shin), Jenkins, and Rodgers to have them as healthy as possible for the Bears game?
EDIT: Crap, never mind. There is one scenario where we could get a wildcard with a lost to the Bears where we would need to beat the Giants and the Skins beat the Giants.
