Julius Peppers only got Carolina a 3rd comp, so us getting a 4th for Kampman is fine by me!
Ted will turn it into something good.

Well I guess since we won the Superbowl, they don't feel to sorry for us! :) T.T. is notorious for turning nothing into something!

4th rounder is pretty good. Sure we can get a solid player.

I thought conventional wisdom was that Kampman would bring either a third or a fourth rounder so I'm mildly disappointed it turns out to be a fourth.

With the compensatory picks now assigned, here are where the Packers' picks fall (unless I miscounted)

    Round --- Overall Pick
    1 --- #32
    2 --- #64
    3 --- #96
    4 --- #129
    4 --- #131 Compensatory for Kampman.
    5 --- #163
    6 --- #197
7 --- #204 From Carolina in trade for LS Jansen.
    7 --- #232

That is not accurate. Carolina got 3 picks, 3rd, 6th, and 7th for the two players they lost, A.J. Feeley and Julius Peppers. So they got more than just a 3rd for peppers.

Kampman was a bad fit in the Packers new 3-4 scheme. I wish him the best, but I'm glad the Packers got a 4th rounder for him. I'm looking forward to TT picking up a solid player.
