Okay, the announcement for which you are all awaiting.





With much/little discernment, we have decided to have the first annual awards which then will be given out each year at this time. this will be a process that will help during the down time before the draft. So here is how it is going to work.

Due Friday, April 4th, 10pm Lambeau time
Catagories:
Nominate what catagories you would like to see. These can be types of post (i.e. funniest post) or posters (i.e. most articulate member). Limit 4 catagories per member. official catagories will be anounced on Monday, April 7th.

Due Friday, April 11th, 10pm Lambeau time
Nominees: AFTER catagories have been announced, you may then submit nominees for each catagory (limit 2 per catagory). Clandestine operations will then take place and official Nominees will be announced on Monday April 14th. There will be a maximum of 4 nominees per catagory. It is at this point that vote submissioins will be accepted. Catagories and thier nominees will be posted in seperate threads so that the smack talk can commence.

Due Friday, April 18th, 10PM Lambeau time
Voting ends. The results will be tabulated by the independant accounting firm of Swindle, Cheatem, and Lyes with the results being posted live on Packerforum the evening of Monday, April 21st at 7pm Lambeau time.

Rules for Submission of Nominations and Voting

PM's must be sent to me by the deadlines. Only 1 PM per deadline, per member will be accepted! Thus, make sure you have all you nominations and then votes are in the one email. Succsessive emails will be discarded as will late ones. So let me repeat this, make sure you make all your catagory nominations in one PM. Then once the catagories are announced, make sure all your nominees for each catagory are on one PM. Then, Vote for just one nominee in each Catagory and make sure all you votes are in just one PM. This will keep my PM box from filling up. Voting will be limited to active members of PF.com. So, you must have at least 100 posts to be elgible to participate.

jeez, tripp. you got my hopes! then, "this is just a reminder!" I vote this thread as biggest overblown letdown of the year.

because I am sure that others like I, do not always notice that the stickey has a new post.

if one had read the original post, they would know that the deadline is not until tonight and that the catagories will not be posted til Monday.

Quick announcement:

Due to bad food poisoning over the weekend, the nominations will be slightly delayed. They will be out today, however not until later this afternoon or early evening. Sorry for the inconvenience however they still will be out today as promised.

Thanks buddy! That's what I was hoping you'd say, lol. food poisoning is the worst. i've had it three times, and because of it, there is a list of foods that I will never eat again. It's that bad. Hope you're feeling better soon, Tripp.

I wouldn't wish food poisoning on my worst enemies. Had to go to the emergency room and get a shot of cortisone once. Food poisoning sucks.
