"Packer hater"?

This is just embarrassing to see the way things are run over here. I pour out my opinions and thoughts, and because of my dislike for the way Ted Thompson has ran our team, my username is turned pink, and I get the "Packer Hater" mocking tag under my name, along with a "warning" that I'm basically restricted to posting on the smack talk board.


I've met a lot of Packer fans, and I have to say, never until today have I been ashamed of any of the fans I've met. But this power-hungry "think like I do or I'll force you out" attitude from some of the staff here is so condescending and petty that I'm truly in shock.


Good fan forums make themselves an atmosphere like you would find tailgating at a game. Fans can disagree and get into arguments over how the team is run, but they're united by their loyalty to the team out in the parking lot. If tailgating looked the way this board does, there'd be bouncers throwing out fans who disagree with certain things the Packers do.


So enjoy the power-trip you can get away with from behind a keyboard on an online fan forum, but be aware that this kind of behavior doesn't fly in the real world...

If you said some of that stuff at one of my tailgate parties, you would literally get laughed away (or taken away by the cops when you freak out at the smack you would hear). You are right, you have different view points... but just because you have different view points doesn't mean they should spew from your fingers.

Then the staff should let me get laughed at, instead of changing my name to pink, adding "Packer Hater" to my profile, and threatening me that I'm only allowed in the "Smack Talk" forum. What a petty power-trip...

I've taken the time to read some of your past posts/topics and I have to agree they are rather annoying to me and I felt like blind folding myself and running down the middle of the freeway that being said man look at the stuff you post bro it's like you hate everything about the packers and running an NFL Pro football team is easy......you almost seem delusional to me.....what you need to understand is.....nfl teams will sometimes make bad decisions and sometimes you'll lose a good player to FA or cuts because of many different reasons from age to productivity to health issues to the ablity to fit the scheme and money it's a fact it's a business and that's a big part of it plain and simple get used to it

and I also noticed you tend to blow things WAY out of proportion taking little things and acting like the sky is falling.....the point of being a fan is to support your team through the good and the bad sitting around bitching 24/7 about the team your supposed to love gets old on the people that try to stay positive no matter what happens and to support thier team they love....no nfl team is perfect if a team was perfect they would win all the super bowls and thier would be no point in even playing anymore

Is there anything you actually like about the Packers? All you seem to talk about is how much our front office sucks and that Barnett is Concuss because of his twitter posts. Honestly it's fine to disagree with the organization but YOU are making Packers fans look bad. The way you go about posting on this site is almost trolling.

Point is, even though I dislike Ted, I'm not any less of a fan, and treating me as such with this pink username, mocking "Packer Hater" title, and restriction to only the smack forum is flat-out wrong and petty by the staff here.

I could be wrong, but I believe that is so that your name stands out as to threads that the regular folks may want to avoid... There are some folks that aren't worried about whether Nick Barnett knows what day of the week it is.

I'm not trying to rag on you man, just giving you insight to why you are feeling so "bullied". Just chill for a bit and I'm sure that things will cool off. If you keep pushing it you're more likely to get the boot.

I've already explained the situation.

I've told that 2 posters have asked for your banment, to which you responded that "98% sure they just didn't like you".

And I've told you, how could they just not like you when you'd been here for 1 day???

Then you rambled by saying that you just said like it was, and that people felt offended by it.

When almost all your posts had the intention of either insult or rile up.

After your offense I asked for the superiors to take a look at your posts and decide what to proceed, and that's how they responded.

Like I said, never in this forum a person created this kind of disturbance over one day.

There has been disturbance before, older posters know it, specially during the Favre to the Viqueens period. But not out of the blue like this.

Yeah, and you're higher-ups responded with a petty mocking pink name, "Packer Hater" tag, and restriction to the Smack Forum. I've been a member on other forums, and that's one of the pettiest responses I've ever seen from forum staff...

Dude, I'll take a Packer Hater tag if it'll keep you from making some of the remarks you make... that suicide post you made didn't exactly make me happy (that is something some people have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with)....

Luckily, it has worked. The forum has been much more civil since this function has been implemented.

I have read all of your "contributions" to the forum and my opinion is that the INTELLIGENT thoughts you "poured" out would be lucky to fill a shot glass. I don't know how you could have reasonably expected to be taken seriously - and therefore I will operate under the suspicion that being taken seriously was never your intention.

The fact is you DON'T let over half your offensive line leave without KNOWING you can replace them. Thompson did, and they're STILL paying for it.

You DON'T let Tauscher miss half of last year because you think he's done only to end up resigning him. You DON'T give HUGE money to Chad Clifton who is 34 and breaking down!

You DON'T draft BJ Raji in the first round knowing you need help on the O-Line *With Oher on the board still* AND inside linebacker (Barnett is undersized and coming off an ACL at the time)

And there isn't a REAL Packer Fan alive that can tell me we're better off with Aaron Rodgers.

It's funny that you stand up for Ted Thompson the man who HAND PICKED Aaron Rodgers as his starting QB in '08...and have a picture of an AUBURN TIGER player on your sig. Don't you remember Aaron's last past in college...the INT he threw that SCREWED Auburn out of the BCS title game? Dude, not ONLY aren't you a Packer fan, but you aren't an Auburn Tiger fan either.

Now before the Johnny come latelys that believe all the TRIPE that Thompson spews spam me...I've been a fan of the Packers since '81, and I ONLY believe in moves that make the team better...something Teddy Bear knows NOTHING about!
