What amazes me about the Baseball H.O.F. is that there are guys who were alcoholics (Mickey Mantle), womanizers (Babe Ruth), racists (Ty Cobb) and many other things, but they all get enshrined. Put him in for his accomplishments ON the field not off.

I already posted Packers for NFL and Canucks for NHL. I keep an eye on the Blue Jays, but don't actually watch any baseball games till playoff time. "Win or go home" is exciting no matter how boring I may find a sport to watch. I haven't watched basketball in a few years since it became so, I dunno, "thug-ish" or whatever, but I really liked that Seattle team a few years back with Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, and Detlef Schrempf. I went to a private school for my highschool years, so I've followed Notre Dame for that reason, though I don't watch that many games. Texas A&M is the other college football team I follow, I guess because I spent a few weeks there during football season a couple years ago. One Terrence Murphy did damn good in the game I went to.:)

we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, buddy. while i concede the fact that racing is not what it used to be with spotters, radio communications, etc...it is still, imho, a sport with millions of diehard fans!
