I don't get the media pressure for this to happen. I realize it's a good story, I guess.
I also don't get the heat both sides are taking because of it.
They were co-workers. Nobody likes all their co-workers. If a co-worker of mine that I don't like has a baby or gets married, I don't call him to congratulate him. I might say something the next time I see him, but I don't call him. Same thing applies here. Favre and Rodgers were co-workers, who I don't think liked each other all that much. Neither side should have to call the other one, and if Favre's reaching out it's entirely within Rodgers' rights to ignore it.
