This is where the Packer fans junp in and say that it was only against Buffalo.

I really wish that the Colts were on the Bears schedule this year.

truth be told thats not what matters. what matters is that theyr winning games.

how many undefeated teams are the packers going to play?? how many are they going to win??

you cant really talk smack to a team that has not lost a game. they are good on all sides of the ball.

The Bears still suck. They havn't even beat anyone. They've got lucky. They won't be good down the stretch and they'll fold. Fill in smack cliche here-------------.

I brought that up because the "experts" are still rating the Colts as # 1 even thought they were lucky to beat the very average Jets and the very bad Titans.

If the Bears are not rated #1 in every power ranking after this week then they are blind. To be honest, I don't really care. I just want to go to another Super Bowl victory parade. The last one was a lot of fun.

I don't think the experts will still rate the cxols #1. As of now the Bears are the best team in the NFL and cearly deserve to be # 1 in the power rankings, that is unless somehow the Ravens anailate the Broncos to the same degree or worse degree then what the Bears did to the Bills (

Yes, the Ravens are playing great and they are keeping it nice and quiet. Their D looks pretty damn good.
Lots of writers are talking about the Colts and Bengals in the AFC while the Ravens and Patriots just go out and win.

I'm a Ravens fan on the side, and I'd love to see the Bears and Ravens beat each other up in the SB. I love fast, athletic defenses that can also beat you up.

The Bears have nothing to fear for the rest of the season, it's a coast to the Super Bowl. What teams on their schedule look like a challenge? What teams from the NFC or the AFC not on their schedule look like a challenge?

random thought: They say Defenses win Championships but the probalem with having a great defense is you can play great defense and be up 10-0 or 14-0 thru 3 1/2 quarters and then if your D makes two mistakes you could be done. Great Offenses just need to make enough plays in the second half whereas if you want to win thru great Defenses they need to plat stong thru the whole game.

This somehow relates to the Bengals and Colts being though of as better teams I guess

Yeah, the Giants and New England are nothing. I'm pretty sure they only beat Minnesota by 3 as well. Not saying they won't win these games, but I'd have to say going undefeated is pretty tough. I do think New England will beat them though.

The margin a team beats the viqueens by is a measure of their abilities? I thought beating the defending NFC champions is a better measure.

The bears are dominating right now. Too bad for them that it's October and not January. Can you say "Peak too soon"?

Your right they should hold back, loose games and wait for the right moment to strike like the packers.

No, I don't think they should lose games much less "loose" games. Are you a product of the Chicago public school system?

Some people here, who heve been following football for more then two years, probably understand what I'm talking about.

I don't think they have peaked too soon. However it is a long, long season. Injuries will play a pivitol role in their outcome. Furthermore, I need to see grossman last an entire season.

Keep in mind also, Grossman has never played in a playoff game. Who knows how he will handle it. We already know how the rest of the team handled their first playoff game last year.

I certianly wouldn't be talking too much smack after only five games. A few key injuries and a little bad luck and all of a sudden you're looking down the barrel of a 9-7 season as opposed to a 16-0 season. Stranger things have happened.

Should things continue as they have for the first five weeks, I would certianly consider the Bears one of the best teams in the league. However, I wouldn't give anyone a pass to the superbowl just yet.

grossman did play in the playoffs and they still lost. (not trying to talk smack)

the bears are the best team in the nfl for the first half of the season. lets see how they do in the games comeing.

they will go 10-0 before they have any chance of loseing.

 I think the trippster is trippin'. What are you talking about? Grossman started in that playoff game against the Panthers and he lost by 8 points. He came back three weeks before the end of the season at halftime in the Falcons game and torched them through the air. The next week he passed all over the Packers on Christmas Day to clinch the division. I think Rex will do fine in the playoffs.

What’s wrong with the Chicago public schools, I think that even the dumbest, half-wit packer fans can understand loose was supposed to be lose. However, I think you should explain how the Bears should keep from peaking early? I would presume by dominating games you believe they have peaked early, I then can assume that by playing poorly or losing games they could avoid this. If this is not the logic you are following please educate this product of the schools of Cook county Illinois. You could make time after checking grammar in the forum, not much else to in Delaware.

Imagine being able to be magically whisked away to . . . Delaware. "Hi, I'm in Delaware."

Delaware is a state. Chicago is a City and Cook County is just that....a county. But I will play along if you want to compare.

I have been to Shitcago....have you geniuses been to Delaware? Or do you need a passport to leave that third world country?

Delaware is a state? That is pretty easy to forget. So it's bigger than Chicago, about the same size as Cook County and way smaller than Illinois? It can't possible take in enough tax revenue to have a very good school system, so they teach mostly grammar and Delaware pride.
