How about KGB??

That's how you embrace your role.

And Barnett???

That called living up to your payday. Would have loved to see Nick score on that return...

Barnett has been a beast in all three games this year. Is it too early to start thinking this guy should be in the Pro Bowl?

KGB has been good too. I think he will get credit for a sack on that forced fumble, and he has brought pressure from the blind side in all three games.

This was an excellent win against a great team, and it proves a lot about the packers and how good they may be, but i think the true test comes nov. 29 against the cowboys. If we pull that one off then i dont see a reason we couldnt go deep into the playoffs possibly with homefield advantage? shhhhh

I think he DID score. I would have liked to see that replayed from a better angle. I think his legs were knocked out of bounds, but had NOT touched the ground, and he hit the pylon with the ball.
I know it doesn't matter now, but I would have liked for him to get the full credit is all.
MM said after the game that he wished he had challenged the catch (i think it was by Jones) at the goaline. (Thats when we lost the ball on downs) I think Jones might have been in the endzone too. But hey, I'm not whining! Thats for sure!
3-0 going into the "Metro Dump!" :D

I thought it was great that McCarthy admitted that. Sherman would never have admitted such a thing. He would've gotten really defensive and grouchy when the reporters asked about it.

Maybe I shouldn't be dumping on Sherman so much. I supported him during most of his tenure here, and I think he was a decent coach. But I do think that McCarthy's superiority is becoming more and more evident as time goes by.

Hell of a game! I hit a bar outside of Boston with my brother and a few other Packers fans showed up, so it was a good time. It feels so good to have Jennings back. Barnett is a monster. I even like what I'm seeing from the running game more than week 1 or 2 (even though they abandoned it for the pass). I'm seeing holes and better gains.
Tomlinson is a classy guy, eh? Nice comments after the game. It's funny that Patriots fans think he's a schmuck, and think Belichick is a hero.

Doesn't KGB have 3 sacks in 3 games? Not bad for a guy who everyone thought was washed up. The thing is, he just needed a specialist role. I'm really glad we kept him, and have him in this role. When people wanted to trade him, I was hoping we wouldn't.

Also, I think the Favre bashers have officially left this forum.

The other thing is, I used to think MM wasn't that good. Now I'm seeing that he's a fast learner and is quickly becoming one of the NFL's better coaches. I love his play calling now. He calls plays for what is necessary to win.

I don't at all think the passing at the 1 was a bad idea. I would have done the same thing. The Chargers are good against the run, but mediocre against the pass. You don't play to your opponent's strength, you play to their weaknesses.

Time to update my sig. :)

O-Line was awesome. Did Merriman play today? I never heard his name...

Clifton, who has been kinda iffy as of late, held him in check. It was great.

Props to Clifton.

i just got home from the game today. 3-0 !!!!!!!!!
the only real bad thing i thought happened today, it might have been brought up. was when i was first a goal, mm didnt throw the red flag, and then took a timeout. throw flag if we would of lost it we would have then been charged a time. i didnt understand his thinking there.

Yes, McCarthy even admitted in his press conference that he should've thrown the flag.

Is it true that Lambeau Field was louder today than it's been in years? What was it like?

I was just going to say something. Wheels are falling off the Bears in the 2nd half. It's so sweet to see. :pop:

Chicago fans are brutal. Minnesota fans aren't much better. Chicago fans will cheer against their own team if they play ******. Minnesota fans just swallow all that anger then go home and kick the dog until they feel better. My dog is glad I'm not a Minnesota fan.
