I would assume he means we would need the money for him and not a NT... but thats just me making up ideas. No idea.

WONT END UP WITH 10 I bet.....

Well, I suppose TT could keep trading down until he's captured the entire 7th. round. ;)

Oh, wait, he can't trade the comp pick.

Seriously, trading down any further at this point is just dilution. Maybe a trade up for another 4th. would make some sense, or chip up a handful of spots for a particular guy using one of the low picks. I'd guess TT will come away with 7 or 8 guys out of those 10 picks.

This draft is unbelievable. We got the best running back in the draft and a thousand yard rusher and the best Defensive End for our scheme on defense. Plus Ted Thompson has racked up a total of 10 draft picks for tomorrow. Unbelievable! Thopmson is showing why weare so lucky to have him as our GM. I hope we get some of these guys tomorrow.

WR: Uzoma Nwachukwu, Texas A&M
S: Baccari Rambo, Georgia
OT: Chris Faulk, LSU
OT: David Bakhtiar, Colorado
OG: Barrett Jones, Alabama

Unless they really, really like Graham Harrell, don't be shocked to see them take one of those QB's there.
I would love either of those WRs you listed 1 & 2.

I'd love Fauria at TE.
If we get Kenny Stills from Oklahoma, I might cry tears of joy.
And I'd cry tears.
That guy is a headcase and then some, no thanks.
No to Da'Rick either, because he's a bad guy to say it nicely.

Well Fauria has the blood line but I like Williams out of Bama at TE for his run Blocking that he would add for Lacy along with Barret Jones(G). I strongly believe Tavarras King is the most talented WR left in draft with biggest upside. He can seperate off the line from DB's like nobody else in the draft. Watch his film. And Uzoma Nwachukwum is a seventh round sleeper with 4.3 speed that has been heavily overlooked. Both of those guys could return punts so Cobb doesn't risk getting hurt back there.

The seahawks are gonna take Quiton Patton tomorrow and let Schnieder have him. King is the guy. Sounds crazy but Swope wasn't the most dangerous receiver at Texas A&M.

With 10 picks I think we can safely take Lattimore and a QB and feel like we didn't waste any picks.

10 picks is nice, five of them being in the seventh round though, not so much. We have more immediate needs at safety and the O-line that I'm not all that thrilled with helping SF twice just to collect some lower round picks and trade out of the 3rd round.

Hopefully Ted will prove me wrong.

I can buy all that ^.

Here's what I have at this particular point:

MY DAY 3 Wish List, Rounds 4-7

  • Round 4, pick 12, 109 overall : QUINTON PATTON, WR, Louisiana Tech (May have to trade one of our 6th Rd picks to move up earlier than this 12th pick, to get Patton. Would be worth it. He's rated higher than 8 WR's taken already this draft.

  • Round 4, pick 25, 122 overall : BARRETT JONES, C-G, Alabama
  • Round 5, pick 13, 146 overall : ZEKE MOTTA, S, Notre Dame
  • Round 5, pick 26, 159 overall: Trade to Arizona for their 2014 4th Rd pick
  • Round 5, pick 34, 167 overall: JOSEPH FAURIA, TE, UCLA
  • Round 6, pick 5, 173 overall: LANDRY JONES, QB, Oklahoma
  • Round 6, pick 25, 193 overall: LUKE MARQUARDT, OT, Asuza-Pacific
  • Round 7, pick 10, 216 overall: XAVIER NIXON, OT, Florida
  • Round 7, pick 18, 226 overall: STEVE BEAUHARNAIS, ILB, Rutgers
  • Round 7, pick 26, 232 overall: ALONZO HIGHSMITH Jr., OLB, Arkansas
