Congrats on that Lions winning tradition partner! Keep up the good work.

Oh, and if being ahead of the Packers once in a blue moon is good enough for your ****** organization and douche-bags like yourself, continue on. I will continue to root for the most tradition-rich team in all of the NFL.

    Congrats once again troll.

    More cheese with your whine?

Keep whining, gaymos. Get used to the suction that will engulf Lambeau Field. It will probably sweep all of those filthy, sweaty cheesehats right off your heads and into a ginormous black hole of suck, labeled "Crap of the 90s That Nobody Ever Wants To See Again," along with a glossy 8x10 of Favre's mug, sealed in an infinitely huge jar of cheese and cheap beer farts - all collected from the suck of Lambeau Field and Lord Favre's rectum. The Packers' overall suckiness is God's punishment for Wisconsin's love of beastiality (there's a whole lot of sheep being taken advantage of in Wisconsin), and he will smite thee like the wicked Sodom and Gommorah, casting off the Packers from the face of relevant football forever!
It's already getting bad. Quality receivers won't even talk to Green Bay, obviously. And your drafted talent will be wasted as soon as it finds out what a gigantic suckhole Wisconsin is, and opts to Javon Walker their way out of town. Can't blame them, really. I call it "self-preservation."

You must be a very angry person if your willing to come to a Packer forum and talk smack about the very team the forum is set up for. If you want me to find a Lions board lemme know and I'll find you one. Otherwise just simmer down buddy cuz it sounds like your typing before thinking.

Nope, I thought it out pretty well.
Oh by the way, welcome to the "Smack Area". It's used for talking smack, or so I'm told. And welcome to my Smackdown of your terrible offensive line.

Yeah that's cool, using slang from the late 90's, and from wrestling none-the-less....

The last year that Jon Kita started all 16 games vs. Last year that Favre started all 16 (note that the Packers haven't brought in any noteworthy receivers or linemen since then):
    Completion %:
    Kitna - 62.3
    Favre - 61.3

    Passes for 20+ yards:
    Kitna - 37
    Favre - 40

    Passes for 40+ yards:
    Kitna - 11
    Favre - 7

    Yards:
    Kitna - 3591
    Favre - 3881

    Interceptions:
    Kitna - 15
    Favre - 29
(psst... that's rougly half of Favre's ints)

    Rating:
    Kitna - 87.4
    Favre - 70.9

    Attempts:
    Kitna - 520
    Favre - 607
(psst... almost equal yardage off of 87 fewer attempts)

    TDs
    Kitna - 26
    Favre - 20

So... what's all this about the Lions not having a good QB? If we don't have a good QB, statistically speaking, neither do you.

    1. What team did Kitna start for??? The Kitties??? Yea, but it were the orange ones, not the blue ones!!!
    2. That was back in 2003 and he started 3 games out of the seven he played since then! Wow, seven games in two years!
    3. What did he do this year -or in your words "right now"- to proof, that he is a decent NFL QB

    4. That're truthes too, but they're truthes, you don't like. Seems, as if you can handle your own truth only.

"Kaffee: Don't call me son. I'm a lawyer and an officer in the United States Navy. And you're under arrest, you son of a bitch. The witness is excused."

He was benched because they drafted a #1 QB. And if I wanted, I could make a case for him having a better line and better receivers in Detroit.
And I'm glad he's only played three games since then. At least he hasn't been taking hits by Chicago's linebackers for the last three years. DOH!

BTW, I love how you left out all of the statistical information in my post. That's what I love about stats; you can't twist them. No matter how much John Madden and Al Michaels would love to tongue on his nutsack, his stats speak for themselves.

Now that is an indication for a real decent QB. The team drafts a QB (why should they, if they have a decent one, draft a #1 QB??) and in his second year, the rookie beats out the decent QB.

    Oh yea, statistics

You compare, as we say in Germany, apples with pears.

2003 was Kitna's seventh season, his second season starting all games for the second team.

Favre's seventh season was 1997, also for his second team, but the fifth, in which he started all games. edge Favre

    Kitna had played 92 games, starting 79 => 85.87%
Favre had played 97 games, starting 93 => 95.88%. edge Favre

Kitna had thrown for 17,537 yards => 190.62 ypg
Favre had thrown for 22,591 yards => 232.90 ypg. edge Favre

Kitna had thrown 108 touchdowns => 1.17 tpg
Favre had thrown 182 touchdowns => 1.88 tpg. edge Favre

    Kitna had 104 interceptions => 1.13 ipg
Favre had 95 interceptions => 0.98 ipg. edge Favre

This year will be Kitna's tenth season and it should be possible for him to be better than Favre was in his tenth. (yards: 3.812, td 20, int 16)

Btw, I cut out your statistics only to save space, I don't want to use a whole page everytime I answer your outpourings.

Well......no one truely KNOWS which team will do what this coming year. If we go by past history, the Packers have 3 SB trophies, the Lions not even an appearance. Those are undeniable facts.
I DO expect the Lions fans to beat their chests now, as if past history is any indication, by mid season they will be wearing bags over their heads and holding "Fire Millen" signs. So they have to get it all out of their systems now, before reality sets in again.
Now, if at seasons end i am proved wrong, and the Lions sit atop the NFL, i will offer their fans my congratulations, and then pick up the next day's newspaper to read these headlines:

DETROIT LIONS WIN THE SUPER BOWL!!!!

HELL FOUND TO BE FROZEN OVER!!!

Cheesey, you really do have a selective memory. You remember 3 SB trophies, but you aren't mentioning the decades of which they sucked.

Bav, those stats are skewed because of Kitna's time as a back up. You throw a backup in when the game is already out of hand. You really think Kitna coming off the bench is a fair comparison to Favre's advantage of knowing when he's going to be in the game? You think?

Hhhmmmmm, let me see, who brought up Kitna first and made comparisons to Favre, hhmmmm, let's go back, way back, back into time.....

On page one of this thread aadp stated, that the bluekitties still don't have a decent QB. No reaction on that statement, but a lot of blablabla until page four. Suddenly, out of the blue, a poster jumps back to that aadp-statement and compares stats of Kitna to Favre's. Please do your own research who the poster was, that brought up that skewed and dumb comparison of stats and who first mensioned the name of Kitna. I'm too bored with that and am not keen on that silly immature-pseudo-facto-smacko-blabla.

    Mehr sog I net.

So what you are saying is Kitna's lack of talent and having to come off the bench is not fair to compare because Brett was good enough to be on the bench only when the defense was on the field?
