How is your NFC North team going to improve next year?

    Bears:
    Grossman actually plays this year.
    #2 WR emerges.
    TE in draft contributes.
    Sign a veteran FA CB.
    Defense continue to force TO's.

Well, it isn't hard to improve on last year for Green Bay.

Well, I think Favre will come back
Walker, if he comes to his senses, and shuts up, will be back
Ryan Pickett will help stop the run
The Packers will sign Vinatieri, so they will win a few more games that way
The Packers will also sign Ben Taylor to play OLB, and he is much better than Diggs
The Packers now actually have a punter that can kick the ball more than 30 yards

    Walker would definately help.
I am not sure Pickett is an upgrade over Jackson from last year. But he is younger.
Vinateri - I am not sure he is an upgrade over Longwell. Longwell had no holder and even a couple bad snaps. Longwell is usually money. HATE to see him with the Vikings.
    Mario Williams would be huge.

I would like either Williams or Hawk, but I like Williams more.

I hear the Bears have man love for Dominique Byrd. Would you like that pick.

    LIONS-

-Players stay HEALTHY. Last year we pretty much played the last 3 or so games with none of our starting linebackers. Kevin Jones, hopefully he can stay healthy.

-New attitude. Hopefully Marinelli can instill some of that. This isn't going to be a free ride anymore now that that hippie Mooch is out of here.

-Draft. I hope we can pick up Micheal Huff in the draft.

Still need a quarterback (though Kitna will be an upgrade over Joey Heatherton). I bet Millen does something stupid and takes Vernon Davis.

I hope Bears go CB in the first and TE in the second. The Bears season comes down to Grossman's health. If he plays, I believe that the Bears can definately repeat last year (with hopefully better playoff results).

Lions- I think Kitna will be good for Detroit. He played well in the first half of the playoff loss to Pitt. Actually very good, considering he came off the bench. Harrington just did not have it.

I was going to say Joey pinkpants, but Big3 coined that phrase.

Three biggest positive's about our team; we're not the Bears, Lions or Vikings.

Nice plan. Should keep you in the cellar for quite a few years...

Although that would be considered stupid, you have to admit he's pretty daaaang good. I really doubt we take him since we signed Dan Cambell, and have Marcus Pollard, so really no need at all for a TE.

Vernon Davis doesn't even look real. He was unbelievable at the combine. Taking a TE that high in the draft would be tough.

Vernon Davis is a monster, but given the Lions' last 4 first round picks, I think picking him might draw some raised eye brows.

Drafting Davis would be MUCH different. Davis is not even close to a WR. He plays a completely different position, TE. They would be really diversifying things.

Now that Joey "pink pants" "blue skies"Heatherton and his piano arm is out of Detroit, the posabilities are endless. I know we may not even make the playoffs this year installing new coaches and a new system, but I will be surprised if we don't go at least 8-8.

BTW-welcome immattmillen, it's nice to see another lions fan around here for a change.

I would like Brett Favre to come back for one more season. I think that would improve the season for the Bears in 2006 because he's good at throwing TD passes to the Chicago Bears(lord knows our QB's weren't doing it).

The packers and lions will be fighting for the division title while the viqueens and the bears will fight for the cellar where those two crappy teams belong.

PackerBacker04 - How are the Packers going from 4-12 to fighting for the division title? Did you ask your Magic Eight Ball "Will the Pack be back in '06", or do you have other REAL reasons to be optomistic?
