I see some fool newsguy in St. Paul is saying don't count on Brett not playing again this year. But it may be for the Carolina Panthers.

What a maroon, even if Brett did play again he sure would not want to go to a loser team like the Panthers.

He's going to Arizona like every other old person does. Or Miami I guess. Taking the Dong show south

Good question. I wonder if there is a "Senior" football league of some sort. There is one for golf. I'm guessing it would be no contact or similar to flag football. The idea of Brett running around trying to play football with a bunch of old men is an oddly amusing concept.

Novel idea for retired players. However, I'd be surprised if the inflated ego of BF would allow him to play with a bunch of "old" guys.

Somehow my mind has no difficulty picturing Brett using his walker to get to the huddle. Or throwing one 60 yards downfield from his wheelchair.

Of course, that 60 yard heave would come with seconds left in the game, and be intercepted.

I dunno why the sports media every year has to have a story speculating on the loser attempting another return just before football season.
Not much else to report on, I guess. And he does keep claiming to quit only to come back.
He's like barf. Just when you think it's over, up some more comes. And it's a painful mess. (Barf Favre?)

I dunno why any team in their right mind would take him at this point. Haven't they seen how bad he really is?
That he has had the fork stuck in him to show that he is done? He is on a losing streak and has been for many years now. So if they want him, they could have him. Especially Minnysoda again.

For anyone that cares the whispers around the league are saying him n Seattle have been talking. If a team like the colts, pats, eagles, ect loses their QB mid way or late in the season I wouldn't be surprised to see #4 out there. It has to be two full seasons before I will believe he is retired.

Do you seriously think his ego would allow anything else than a guaranteed starting position? He left GB because he would have been riding the pine.

Favre has a new endorsement deal in place... I'm pretty sure it's just a coincidence that these reports are surfacing now...

BTW, playing Favre right now isn't very different from playing Derek Anderson.

It's not a bad idea for Philly to explore. Maybe they will sign him and we will see him in the playoffs.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if he played somewhere else. It was interesting watching him play for the Jets, but the Vikings made me physically ill for one year, the second year, it was almost enjoyable.

I've been hearing the same thing in Philly but word is now that it's bogus. The thing is, this is exactly the kind of thing the Eagles would do.

6abc.com Vick commented on it, he thinks he needs a good backup.

Bottom line with Favre. If he goes anywhere, he's gonna have to be content with playing backup at best. The problem is, the way QB's have been going down lately, the odds of him starting at some point are actually pretty good. I dunno, but I had a funny feeling we haven't seen the last of Favre, but I was kind of expecting to see him in the booth broadcasting, not on the field taking snaps and calling plays.
