    No, you were right. He gave his personal endorsement for "Claymaker" and has a website selling Claymaker t-shirts, even asked A-rod if he wanted a size 2X.

    The nickname for Mathews -"Claymaker"- originated on on WDUZ "the Fan" sport radio Green Bay some time ago . They refer to him as Claymaker quite often on their two listener call in shows- Sportsline and Fan line.

    Clay Matthews is dangerous, give the man a dangerous name. "Claymaker" makes me think of those old claymation motion stop skits. Not Scary.

    Thor always reminds me of Vincent d'onofrio from "adventures in Babysitting". again, not scary.

    Claymaker is definitely the nickname but when he makes two plays in a row we need to call it an Instant Reclay. If the opposing team makes a good play, it's time for some Clayback. If he keeps playing at such a high level, he'll earn a big Claycheck. Lambeau Field is his Clayground.
