    Why yes I did.

I am currently projecting 2009 (season).

All will fall into my grand plan, and the Vikings shall reign Supreme.

So it is written, so it shall be done.

    Mark my words!

    But Disco :soapbox:

cheesey that was a cruel, cruel thing to say.

The only thing good about the 70's was the Packers, they were "awesome"

I hear that the "Packers of the 70's" are coming back

    You forgot...after Super Bowl.

But the future is now, and as the Vikes are building, the Packers are crumbling with the Favre "foundation" fading away.

Then the Pack will be like a rudderless ship, adrift in a sea of despair

    Oh, woe to cheesey :rotflmao:

Do you actually read posts before you reply to them? You corrected yourself on the T or F question. Kudos to you. Also, I said 'arguably' the only winning team that the Packers beat didnt have anything to play for. That point could very easily be argued either way.

To end, your comparison of playing the GB packers in the last game of the season, where the Bears had absolutely no concrete reason to win, with playing in the superbowl, is one of the most laughable things that I have read on this board in a while.

Hence the "what kind of logic is this?" qoute. Making an excuse like "it was new years" and "we had nothing to play for" is one of the most laughable things I have seen. Had the Packers laid down (and I would say that being their last game of the year, they had every reason to) I would have been thouroghly embarrassed.

Face it. Bears tried, Packers tried, we beat you..... handedly.

Wait a minute.......am i missing something? Didn't the PACKERS beat the BEARS "handedly" in the last game of the regular season?
Are you a Packer fan now?

This is cool. Trippster the Authority has the right to go into peoples posts and put stuff that they did not write. I believe this is worse than censorship. I will now respond what appears to everyone as my own post.

4th and 26 - you must be a complete ahole. I originally said that there was no 'concrete' reason to win. The bears couldnt move up or down in the standings. In no way was the outcome of the GB v CHI game going to impact the standings. Yes, there were other things to play for, but nothing tangable. As for being embarrassed - yes the beating was embarrassing - until 30 seconds after the game when I started making plans on where to watch the bears in the playoffs, and everyone else started talking about the draft...

Cheesy, the wheels fell off 5 weeks later. Remember the bears had a bye the first round of the playoffs (because they were the best team in the NFC) and then they won 2 playoff games (against teams with winning records-a strange concept for the Packers). Then, yes you are correct, the wheels fell off.

    4th & 26 ~

First off, even though you didn't give me the benefit of the doubt before you resorted to name calling and crying "foul", let me apologize.

As a moderator, there is a button right next to the "quote" button that is the "edit" button. I accidently hit the wrong button and did not notice it until just now when I came back to see your response. My intention is not EVER to put words in other peoples posts unless I am subsituting for a profane word.

Regarding our conversation, regardless of the reasons, we still beat you...there is no excuse.

And as far as what you did the following day, wonderful. However, at the end of the season, you ended up just like the other 31 teams.....nothing for the cupboard...

I have to admit i agree with everything mr pickles has said about the draft.I also have come to the conclusion that TT is going for the #1 pick next year cuz he sure isnt trying to build a winning team.I never heard of that free agent rb from nebraska that we used our 2nd round pick on and whats with the bust with the #1 pick we could have traded it off to cleveland for alot of picks. All in all TT sucks and should be run out of town but i will say ty TT you saved me $250 this year seeing i wont be buying the nfl sunday ticket to watch a high school level football team.I want to give an early welcome to the RB from arkansas Mr Mcfadden with next years #1 pick.My prediction is the packers will be 1-15 and that win is an ot win over detroit in GB but we could easily be the 0-16 acks see ya all next year and someone please take TT hunting with them.

Very understandable mistake. Thanks for the explaination.

Yes, the packers did beat the bears the last game of the year. Despite all my posts saying otherwise, I will now finally admit that based upon the final score, the packers did beat the bears.

If you truely believe your last statement, then you would be content with never making the playoffs. I am not. I want to make the playoffs every year if possible. When the bears dont make the playoffs, then I to am bitter, and say the same meaningless things.

It actually worked out well for the Pack. By beating the bears, they were able to move back 6 spots in the draft and get their guy. Taking the DT from Tenn 6 spots earlier would have looked even more foolish than it already does.

I normally dont like name calling either. The name calling the Trip is calling me out on is when I indirectly called him an ahole.

If you read the post, I directly called myself the ahole.

Trip, I do apologize for the name calling. I think that you may be a touch sensitive, but I apologive.
