Last night, friends and I decided to head to movies after playing a few rounds of pool. We heard Miami Vice wasn't that good (which is true IMO, after watching it today), and were not NASCAR fans, so that new movie was out, and well basically there wasn't any good movies out there.

Pissed me off, waste of a good 3 hours. Ended up seeing "You, Me, and Dupree". Really crappy movie. Kinda surprised at the choices out there, excluding PotC 2.

the ringer was terrible. If you pay close attention to the plot you'll realize it never really ends. They just leave it wide open.

What do you mean? The uncle won the bet, Jeffey Domher started directing (acting was his dream, but directing is close), and Jeffey got the girl?

Larry the cable guy sucked??? I'm being honest.......i went to see it during the day while my wife was at work, and when she came home i said "We're going to the movies!" and i took her to see it. Now, she USUALLY doesn't ike my low brow sense of humor, but i have NEVER seen her laugh so much at a movie! She LOVED it! Now, it IS dumb humor, low brow stuff. But if you go in expecting that, you will NOT be disappointed!
I want to get the DVD so i can watch it again.

PC.....if you like farting humor, and low brow comedy, you will like it! Also, there's nothing dirty in it, just VERY funny.
Making Larry a health inspector was very funny, as of course he's not the cleanest guy. His truck looks like an accident happened INSIDE it!

Will has set standards with his previous movies and failed to even come close to them with this movie. I am a huge Will Ferrell fan and was supremely disappointed with the quality of Will-ness he put into this movie. I only spent 6 bucks on it but it still was not worth it.

I saw Talladega Nights and I thought it was pretty bad. I love Will Ferrell, and thought Anchorman was hillarious, so I assumed this would be the same. The movie just didn't do it for me though, Will Ferrell seemed different and it was more stupid humor than any of his other movies. The "bad guy", Jean Girard was also pretty dumb and unfunny.
