Most obnoxious fan base?

It's a two way street. Maybe you would be interested to know that your "fan base" over at SteelerNation launched a troll attack at the behest of the admin there. Who in his words "Lets start a fight" started it. A lot of people here were put on the defensive and angry at Steeler fans. I don't have anything against Steeler fans, I realize it was a minority of idiots, but it ratcheted up the tension on this forum and people lashed out and still take new posts by Steeler fans sometimes the wrong way.

You have repeated the same "Packer fans" are disappointing in several posts now. We get it. Please stop as it doesn't add anything but continues to increase tensions. I apologize if you feel mistreated or singled out.

Maybe Steeler fans from other forums shouldn't have come here with the express purpose of picking a fight at the behest of their board's admin.

Maybe you'd have been greeted differently.

Bettis, this is a Packer site. Really, fans are best off sticking to their own websites. I've never, ever visited another team's website because I really disagree with 99% of the stuff that I see from opposing fans that come here.

Come to Lambeau. I think you would find the Packer fans the most gracious in the league (except for a few drunks). The internet brings out the worst in a lot of folks, just as alcohol does.

Every fan base in the NFL is loaded with drunken jag offs but not all of them have to start a little thread to vote for how wonderful they believe they are.

Not every fan base in the NFL believes that they are some magical keeper of all that is holy in football while turning a blind eye away from their own collection of home grown idiots and pricks.

I honestly haven't really encountered any hardcore smack talking threads. It seems everyone here is enjoying their bowl appearance and having good football conversations. I really have been enjoying myself around here.

Edit: Actually, I can see why you haven't had a warm welcome. From the look of your posts, it seems that you came looking for a battle. Just my observations.

I'll just say that I don't think I want to be in the same room with Broncos and Raiders fans when a Broncos/Raiders game is on.

Here in PA there were lots of Steelers hats and flags and such all around. Now we see who the real Steeler fans are. There aren't a lot in sight anymore, but I will admit, tonight at the grocery store I saw a couple of fans still proudly wearing their Steelers stuff. That's how I knew they were true Steelers fans.

Remember, now that the Packers won the Super Bowl there will be a ton of "new" Packer fans. That brings in good money for the organization, so the bandwagon is helpful to an extent. Those of us old timers will just have to try to groom the bandwagoneers into real fans.

Anyone who puts "Da" in fornt of their name is obnoxious. :chisux:

Oh I don't know about that. The Bears board has a section they call Rival Central which is specifically made for fans of other teams to post. The only other section I post on there is the college teams. Never go in the main fan forum.
