Most obnoxious fan base?

Honestly after this week i now understand why noone likes steelers fans. They are as annoying as the bears and vikings fans. The least annoying to me is the falcons. They were the number 1 seed and were very respectful and intelligent about what they said.

What do you think? Agree? Disagree?

The Bears fan base is without a doubt the worst when they are winning. When the are losing they turn on themselves and its quite entertaining.

yeah I had a thread earlier in the smack section about Steeler fans being the new Cowboys fans. The only think that compares is Vikings Packers imo. These guys are just trolls.

I can't agree with the Falcon Fan assessment. I live on the cusp of Falcon territory and they can be pretty damn obnoxious. Not to mention my dad went to the Week 12 game with his Falcons friend and three guys heckled him the entire game and ended up taking his brand new hat off his head and chucking it across the stadium. Pops got them ejected and arrested, but it was still ridiculous.

I lived in the ATL for a few seasons and they were too busy fighting amongst themselves to be ***** to anyone else. It was when vick was there and the fans seemed to draw their lines racially so it was quite 1800's of them and disturbing.

went to 2 seahawk games and they were respectful at both even though i rooted for the other team and the seahawks won both times

I know a PITT fan in real life (not the internet tough guy land PITT fan) and he's VERY respectful of the Packers. He said if PITT loses the SB, he would rather it be to the Packers than any other team in the NFL. I thought that was pretty cool. Also his mom who I always thought as a hard core PITT fan said she was rooting for the Packers this time in the SB! She said Ben has his rings but she wants to see Aaron get his now. That surprised me.

I think there's a lot of us online that feel the same way. I know I do. There are some Packer Backers on this forum who could take the "obnoxious" title all on their own, but I understand that 1) it doesn't reflect on the rest of you and 2) we are in your house and have to expect such things.

My vote for most obnoxious fans goes to Baltimore.

I'd have to say Raiders fans when they are winning (and talk about attracting bandwagon fans!) It's been a nice break to have them be so terrible the last few years! I have to admire their hardcore fan base for sticking with them though. That's a pretty passionate group.

I'm with you on that one. I was born in the Burgh and moved to Southern California as a kid. Grew up there. Finished a career as a Homicide Detective in Los Angeles when the Raiders were there. Horrible fans. Arrested a few in my time.

I got business cards printed up as a joke, and on the back, they say, "Here is why nobody outside of the prison system,Gangland or the City of Oakland likes the Raiders. Al Davis is the ugliest, most vile and bizarre owner in sports. Their fans will stab you and your six year-old daughter with a rusty screwdriver if either of you look at them funny. Sebastian Janikowski. JaMarcus Russell. Todd Marinovich...Oh lookie, Al Davis again. The guy that carjacked me and shot the guy dead at the corner liquor store was wearing a Raiders jacket."

That's what the card says. And you know what? The card is right about EVERYTHING.

Most obnoxious fans? Dallas Cowboys fans. Bar none and the biggest bunch of bandwagon turds EVER. They drive me insane, and I know a few of them in Maryland. I ONLY pray for the worse things to happen to that franchise, and it seems to be happening more than often.

That's cause you never had to deal with the Viking fans in 09 as they made their run with that ex-Packer QB they had. Talk about obnoxious!!! They couldn't wait to rub it in our faces that they were going to win the SB with him. The Porter pick was poetic justice is every sense of the word.

The Raiders fans (mostly) and Chargers fans scare the hell out of me. I feel like during the 4 years I was at school in San Diego someone died in a fight every year when the Chargers and Raiders got together.

Weird, I always picture Charger fans are being pretty apathetic toward their team even when they are winning. I mean, the Chargers have trouble selling out their stadium when they are winning. You'd think the Chargers could sell out the stadium that basically has perfect weather for sports year round. One of the mysteries of sports I guess.

I like and hate the same fans of the Chitcago Boars, one for being such good fans of their team and second for the same reason.
I'd say second goes to the Viqueens, but that should be expected. But those pitiful fans jump bandwagons like it was a .20 cent score. After that, I'd say Patriots and Steelers fans, they feel entitled, makes me sick, just sick.

Actually, we did. We played them that year ( I *think* it was that year...) and some of them chose to watch the game at our Steeler bar. They actually weren't bad. I'm sure it's different when there's an actual rivalry going on.

I would say the Bears fans are by far the worst. The Vikings fans are pathetic and usually are more interested in hockey midway through any season.

Cowboys and Raider fans have a terrible fan base by far the most obnoxious, just like yankee and red sox fans in baseball
